I've been in the Blue Fox Bar @ Kempinski, Budapest and the cocktails were perfect and the burgers fantastic. It's a great place to be, relax and hang out on your own or with friends. The staff are super friendly and empathic. They will do everything to make you happy. I love this place. If you happen to be in...

I travel a lot to Budapest and this is one of the two hotels I stay in. Staff are friendly and efficient, rooms are spacious (maybe a little tired), good breakfast choice and nice lobby bar. Is also perfectly located for visiting Budapest as a tourist. Good value for money

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The hotel is immaculate the amenities are plentiful and the service is attentive as well as professional. Great location if you like strolling, sidewalk cafes, etc. At the ES restaurant, we recommend Adam, who spoke so full of pride about Hungarian food that we returned a second time for dinner (something we...

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel in Budapest. The location is perfect for walking to many of the sites. The service was terrific from the concierge staff to the excellent servers in The Living Room restaurant in the lobby area. Both Niki and Diana were excellent servers and made us feel like we were in our own...

We went here asking for some advice and the concierge was very helpful in assisting. Spoke good English. The hotel is very centrally located and has a grand lobby which is clean and sparkly with smartly dressed hotel staff waiting to assist.

Stayed there 3 nights, as part of the delegation of the company I work for during a Finance Conference in Budapest. Very nice hotel, well located, with friendly staff and clean and spacious rooms. Just 2 blocks away from the river and around the corner of a nice shopping area. On top of that, good room service in speed and...

Dear valued Guest, First of all thank you for your comment and feedback about your recent Budapest stay. Your kind acknowledgement on the location, cleanliness, rooms, attentiveness of the staff and in-room dining service quality is very well received. We apologize however for the inconveniences because of the missing tea/coffee making facilities - at the same time we offer our...

Sept 28 When I think about a hotel in the tradition of a "Grand Hotel Budapest," like the recently-released movie, I think that Kempinski Hotel Corvinus deservedly qualifies. Ever since I was in Budapest ten years ago at the InterContinental down the street, I walked the pedestrian mall and admired the Kempinski. I had a wish to be a guest...

The hotel was fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location made it even better as it was so easy to get around to downtown Budapest. The chain bridge was close by also. The spa within the hotel was amazing and just what we needed on this break. The staff were very friendly, it was easy to book and the service...

This hotel is right across from the Budapest Eye! Our room had the view if Budapest eye from our window and it looked absolutely beautiful! My kids were thrilled beyond words! The room was great, the service is super quick. My only issue was that the in room dining menu is not very kid friendly or vegetarian friendly. Luckily, there...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
