My friend got a lodge in this place through RCI. The place is somewhat inconvenient for city sightseeing. Luckily we are interested in seeing places outside of Budapest also. With Susanna's help, we were able to sign up for a few day trips and visited a few interesting towns. Highlight of trips: Danube bend, Balaton lake, and Edgar. Due to...

The resort lacks proper facilities except pools indoor and outdoor (small). The bungalows are very nice and comfortable, but just to sleep in. Staff are rude and try to create inconvenience to try and charge you. However the RCI representative was very professional and values the customer experience. Helpful not only in sorting out issues with hotel management but very...

I booked a wooden house there using RCI, where me and my family stayed for 7 nights. The place is so nice, clean, quiet. The place had 2 pools, an outside and an inside one, table tennis, tennis courts, places for kids to play, it was really really nice. Even they offered minibuses to take us to the city center,...

We booked this resort through RCI and were not impressed. It is remote and quite far from the Budapest town. We had to hire a taxi when wanting to go out. It's a 10 minutes walk down to the main road after which you have to take a bus, then tram. We thought it was too much hassle. Local Money...

This hotel is located around 30 minute drive from Centre of Budapest. The city can be reached by bus and tram but there is a 15 minute walk to the bus stop. The hotel provides a minibus transfer downtown for around £5 a time but it only runs 3 times a day each way. The service bus takes around 10...

Stayed here for a week in August 2015. Log cabin was clean enough but was sold as sleeping six yet only had one bathroom and no separate loo. Phone didn't work for the week and neither did the in-room safe. Admittedly we were there in August but there must have been nearly ten weddings taking place in the hotel during...

Beautiful Hotel in the nature but still so near to the city. The front swimming pool is lovely, the sauna is small for few person per time but nice. We were in a room but they offer cottages too which is more exciting I think. Definitely go there again one day.

Honestly, I have no idea of how to review this hoot of a place. Stayed in a cabin and it's an Ikea log cabin - dark wood exterior and pine floors in the cabin. If you're expecting luxury cabins, you'll be disappointed. If you're expecting summer camp, it's awesome. The interior had everything you'd need: semi-equipped kitchenette, bathroom, non-functioning sauna...

"But the wifi was good" said my son and then I think he was very friendly. We stayed for 3 nights as a family in a 6 person cottage. The cottage was alright. There was no sauna as stated (but who needed it with 35 C outside). It was clean and had a very small kitchen. The outside table was...

This was our third visit to Budapest, so we preferred Petnehazy for a "lazy" vacation. But ; the first day we met with Susanna from the reception, it became almost the opposite. She arranged perfect day trips that we couldn't resist to say "no" and even booked a limo for us to Ljubljana with a very reasonable price, although we...
