District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.

The hotel is located right on the Danube, overlooking the Castle and Chain Bridge if you have a room facing the river. The room itself was immaculately clean and well equipped for our needs (the usual minibar, TV, phone, AC etc). The coffee maker was a handy addition for a

Dear Jay K, Thank you very much for contacting us. In Budapest we have 3 main train stations and all are located next to a metro line. You only have to purchase a single ticket for 1 journey, no additional charges for luggage, etc. In regards to taxis I would suggest to order one from our hotel as taxis around railway stations might turn out unreliable. Please contact our Concierge on the hotel's website and you will be given very useful information in more details. Kind regards, Claus Geisselmann General Manager

Windows can be opened but for safety reasons only up to 10 cm. 3. Both sides are quite but if someone is noise sensitive it is advised to book a city view room. 4. According to IHG policy in case a booking is made by points no upgrade is applicable. Best regards, Claus Geisselmann General Manager
