I would totally recommend this hotel! As soon as you walk out of Budapest´s main train station, it´s right in front of you. The subway station is also right in front of the hotel and they offer the best free breakfast ever! We were lucky when because we got assigned this hotel through hotwire, but if you´re looking at hotels,...

Located next to Keleti and Arena Plaza, and on a main road, the hotel has friendly and prompt service, a great breakfast spread and good facilities. The area by the hotel has a number of pubs, cafes, restaurants and bars. It seems a little run down from the surrounds but it is good inside. As with anywhere close to a...

Our initial experience of the Golden Park Hotel was a pleasant one, what other reviews have stated about the walk into the centre being about half an hour straight down is completely accurate and we really enjoyed the freedom of walking around at our own pace. The hotel provided us with lots of leaflets and details etc and the staff...

I booked this hotel knowing that it was a budget place to stay, but still at the room rate of €120 per night, I expected more than hostel standards. The lobby was clean and the concierge inviting. We headed up to our room expecting something basic yet comfortable. The first thing I noticed was a load of black scuff marks...

We stayed here the weekend before Christmas to visit the markets and enjoy sightseeing in Budapest. The hotel is very well situated. On arrival, we opted for the room upgrade at 10 euros per room per night, which included the use of a fresh coffee machine. Our daughter had previously stayed here and thought the upgrade was worth it as...

We stayed here for four nights whilst visiting the Christmas markets. Access to public transport was excellent for metro, tram, bus, and train. Airport about half an hour away, and about E20. Staff perhaps a little over-zealous when clearing the breakfast tables, we almost lost our tea and cereal while fetching some juice! Bedroom and en-suite fine. The only complaint...

dget hotel. Good location if u plan to travel around hungary. Just opposite the main rail station. A love pizza restaurant just below the hotel.do not take the tram line...it passes the gypsies area and can be unsafe for tourists.
