The entrance is obscure we walked past twice before we realised it was the entrance..reception is on the 5th floor we got out of the elevator, there encountered a terrible smell. The staff at the front desk are extremely friendly and helpful.. showed us our room which was in the attic with 2 large windows...did not have proper window blinds...

Stayed here for five days and we were satisfied! The staff was so friendly and helpful, we got the wrong room and asked to change several times and they gladly helped us and made sure we got what we wanted. Good breakfast, nice location and good cleaning! Overall happy and satisfied!

This is a hostel, not a hotel, and should be listed as such. The location to the train station is excellent. However, breakfast was very limited, although the room used was nice. Beds were like racks, with no proper mattress, just lots of wires to dig into your spine. Floor was filthy. No lifts to upper floors. Opens into courtyard,...

Clean but so noisy. We were only one night. The breakfast so complete. If we come back some day to Budapest sure we come back to this hotel. The location is so close of the train station and in a good street.

A short walk from the train station. Take the elevator up to find the reception. Friendly staff, quick check-in and out. Safe bagage storage, decent breakfast, reasonable speed free wifi. Metro just around the corner. Only downside, built around a central courtyard with noise at 6 am echoing from the ground floor around the walls. A good option when travelling...

The hotel is in a very good location if you are travelling through Keleti station. The room is clean but dated. The breakfast was ok. We have to lift our luggages on the top floor because there was no elevator. The man at the reception was nice and very helpful.

The hotel has comfortable rooms and is very quiet. Metro station, railway station and bus stand is just outside hotel gate and city centre is just a couple of miles away. Breakfast is really nice but sitting area is small. The reception is at 5th floor. Overall very good experience :)

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
