We spend 3 nights (from April 14 to 16) at this Ibis hotel and the overall experience was more than satisfactory. HOTEL LOCATION the hotel is close to center and the Metro stop is 5 min walk away. There are a lot of cheap eating places around and the famous New York cafe is 2 blocks away. ROOM We had...

Great hotel near the city centre. Modern-looking hotel with great staff, especially at the reception. Room was quite big, very clean and with lots of light. Amazing decorations throughout. Very efficient air-conditioning system. Bathroom was spacious. Beds were great and comfy. Breakfast was included in price, and was very rich, although some more sweets could be added. Parking is for...

These guys were lovely. I was transferred to this hotel because I was too poorly to fly and the hotel I had been at was fully booked. The ibis staff were very helpful is sorting a room straight away and checking us in quickly. I don't remember too much of that first day but the room was spacious and the...

We chose the Ibis Styles because it was walking distance from Kelati train station as well as the main attractions. The area in which it is located is a little rough and getting to and from the attractions involved going through several underpasses where homeless people were sleeping. The hotel itself was clean and breakfast was included. As with all...

Stayed with family in two rooms over the weekend, both rooms excellent and clean. WiFi OK, breakfast good, bar not too expensive. Close to center, but not to close, so parking on the street was free over the weekend :-) I would go again there

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
