The hotel is ideally located, reasonably priced and the rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is nothing special but will do. The staff are welcoming and nice with a 24 h open reception.
Recommendable. We stayed for 4 nights.
Great location. Substantial buffet breakfast. Within walking distance to many landmarks. Very helpful staff. Unique bedrooms. Our room had a balcony with table & 2 chairs. Near to all public transport.

There was no kettle or tea making facilities in the room but once we asked at reception, we were provided with a kettle and cups.
We had a bath and shower over the bath. Towels changed mid stay (our stay was for 4 nights).

as Huskies92 pointed out the Hotel is not in walkable distance from Keleti train station but is doable taking the metro but depends how much luggage you have and if you are comfortable using the metro. You would need to take the M2 line towards Deli Palyaudvar but get off at Deak Ferenc and change to get the M3 line towards Kobanya-Kispest and get off at Kalvin Ter, which is the second stop. I didn't use metro to go to train station but I did use metro for airport and to other places. It's easier if you buy day pass or travel card. Check the Metro map to give you an idea.
I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Kalvin it's close to a lot of places.
