Trendy Budapest Hostel was top notch, we had the whole hostel to ourselves as there was 10 of us. Breakfast was supplied which was very useful. The hosts were amazing, Pamir replied to all questions before the visit very quickly and arranged transfers and tours. Emir was amazing, doing three trips to and from the airport as we all arrived...

The apartment on Oktober6, Utca 19 was incredibly central. Close to St Stephen's Bazilica, the Chain Bridge and various other hot spots, with a metro station a few minutes walk away and a small supermarket at the end of the road. This apartment was an absolute bargain for the location and quality. We booked the whole apartment (slept 17 but...

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Trendy's place. When we arrived the host immediately gave us a lot of info about the appartment and surroundings. And there was also an option to change the room into a private 'suite' with a private bath room. We had a lot of space and privacy! We loved the fact that...

We found their website and contact directly to them, they are running a couple of large apartments and they offered us one with 5 bedrooms. We literally closed out the entire hostel and were on our own which is exactly we were looking for! Apartment was on the 4th floor with a lift, rooms were IKEA decorated and there were...

I booked this place on Airbnb for an overnight stay in Budapest. The flat is close to St. Stephen's Basilica. There are good restaurants and bars close by. There were four of us in one room and other parties in the two other areas in the flat. We never saw any of them while we were there. Our bedroom was...

I stayed at the apartment this weekend with 19 other friends for a hen weekend... we had such an awesome time and the hosts went out of their way to accommodate us.. it was booked through Air BnB, and they also offered a hen/stag party package, so they organised everything for us. Without a doubt I would recommend everyone to...

We had a great stay with a group of friends. Pamir was a super helpful host, who took his time to explain everyone how to get round the city, and thanks to him we saw the best of Budapest. Definitely recommend going here.

14 of us went to Budapest for a stag party this weekend. Accomodation was ideal, good walking distance to all areas of the city. Apartment was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful enough and arranged our transfers to and from the airport. Breakfast was a bit basic, a few eggs, bread and a couple of cereals...

Upon arrival we found the hostel owner waiting on the street for us bearing the bad news that he had accidentally double booked us and didn't have place for us to stay. However, he went to a special effort to book us a luxury apartment all to ourselves just across the street, and made sure we were looked after. Really...

The winning attributes of this place is that the location is just wonderful and the price is amazing. Its a nice budget place with polite and helpful staff. There is breakfast stacked up which one can help themselves too. We arrived and met some fellow travelers and got good tips for the city ... Its a nice casual atmosphere ....

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.

“Rooms on the inner side of the building are slightly quieter, as these are not looking onto one of the main streets, the noise was never an issue, but for some this can sometimes cause alarm.”
