Couldn't ask for a better location. It is situated in the very heart of the city with literally hundreds of shops and good restaurants close by. Also close to three different markets. The staff and management were very friendly and professional. The buffet breakfast offers a good variety of hot foods, cereals, fruit, grains, cold cuts, breads, croissants, juices, tea and...

We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2015. We were greeted warmly by the staff. They were very helpful in answering our questions and booking the Danube River Dinner Cruise for us and calling the taxi for our trip to the airport. Our room was small by US standards but average for Europe. The bed and pillows were comfortable....

Great hotel for a city break. Good location. Breakfast was a bit average with hot food going cold rather quickly. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Room was warm and tidy with decent shower. Located on a pedestrianised street so no traffic noise either..

Walking distance to all the touristic sites. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The room was a bit tight but doable for one person. Even though it's located on a non traffic street, it was a bit noisy at nights. Overall very satisfied.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
