We arrived at 10 minutes to 2 and the unfriendly staff member told us we had to wait to check in at 2 so within this 10 minutes that she made all of us wait the queue just grew and grew. Then when she finally began checking us in she was very very slow. When we finally got to our...

My friend and I were there during backpacking in Europe. It was the most disgusting hostel of all hostels we've been at. The floors, shower and toilet weren't clean at all. And it doesn't feel that safe being there. You can have much better hostel for the same price.

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst travelling Europe with my girlfriend. Was one of the best hostels we had stayed in during our 4 weeks travelling experience. Friendly and helpful at reception, reasonable close to the main part of Budapest within a walking distance. Enjoyed our stay here and if ever we come to Budapest again then we will stay...

Two of us stayed here for 5 nights as we were attending a festival in Budapest. The room had lots of long brown hair on the floor and in all of the bedding (we both have blonde hair..). The bathroom often did not have toilet roll in, however the staff at reception are useful, speak English well and are there...

+ good location near to the main rail station + fridge & internet + spacy rooms - terrible smell in the "kitchen" with no equipment - no toilet paper on the toilet - fungus in the bathroom and rusted equipment - look really dirty in overall

This hostel is located near a train station that is quite central and it's close to the Main train station, but the area during the day and at night is really sketchy and quite dangerous. The rooms are spacious, as well as the bathroom and restroom, but they were a bit dirty: hair on the pillows and dirty on the...

It was terrific stay at City Hostel Corvin. I have dirty room. In your room you will find hair, because washing machine in here is very bad. Towels is not included. In summer it's will be not smart choice, they don't have air-conditioning. Also cleaning throw away all my stuff from bathroom.

It is very cheap! We got a double bed room, for two, for about 6 or 7 € person. It was a flat with 2 rooms! Had a kitchen but not dishwasher to cook. The bathrooms were not very clean. A bit noisy because we got a big group partying in the same floor.

The only thing that I liked abut this place is the stuff. Ladies at the reception were very helpful, kind and patient. Then there are the things that we did not like. First of all, there's no air condition in the rooms. It may be not a big deal for most of all, but the thing is, that you can...
