This is one of my worst hostel experiences. We arrived to Budapest in the evening, check in must have been done at 20.00 and we did not have much time. We were at Rottenbiller 15 around 19:45 but there was no sign of the hostel. We had do call to the hostel, the owner picked up and told us that...

Reception doesn't exist. Nobody was in the place. No keys (!!!) : everybody can go inside and do things at any time, as actually happened to us. Everything was a mess. We just left as soon as possible and looked for another place to stay.

We had issues with this place from the start. There is no signage outside the building, eventually we had to just ask someone coming out of the building if we were in the right place. We were met with a young guy who was talking 1000 miles a minute, he said it was only his second day and when we...

The guy who runs this place is one of the nicest people we might throughout the entire time we were interailing. We got straight into the place and he offered us a drink straight away. He showed us all the best things to do in Budapest, how to get around, the best places to go to eat and for the...

Myself and two friends stayed here after Ozora Festival 2013. The owners are super friendly and welcoming and do everything they can to take you comfortable and happy. The hostel itself was initially a little hard to find but don't let that put you off. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean and it is close to the centre of...

Upon finding the apartment block we were dubious as to the state of the place, however these premonitions were incorrect. Upon arrival we were very warmly welcomed by the owner of the hostel whom spent a good half an hour communicating to us the best places to go, what to do the cheap exchange points etc. all of which was...

Stayed here for 3 days, great location and the guy was more than helpful in recommending things to do! So it wasn't the best utility wise and was a little eery up the flight of stairs at night but hey that's what hostels are all about! Its an apartment block with locals living around basically!
