The bed was comfy, the rooms were warm and quiet, and the shared bathrooms were kept clean. The location was great, waking distance to most of the interesting areas plus a tube line nearby. I was really happy with my stay here. If happy go back.

The place is very good, it's in the centre of Budapest, close to any shop, to Vaci street, if you want to spend more, also close to metro stations Deak and Ferenciek. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We were there in October and it was cold but they gave us another heater. The staff is very friendly. There's...

I wanted to make a reservation for 10 days and after few days (when I started planning my trip) they rejected it informing me that "Budapest is a popular tourist place, very often chosen by our guests in that time." So why are you advertising rooms and then decline when customers are willing to rent a room? Not cool. Because...

For three years we are going to the Budapest every June/July. And every time we slept right here. It's clean and familiar place, staff is very helpfull. But there isn't enough sinks, so if you are unlucky you have to wait to clean your face etc. But it very cheap, close to city center, so it is very convenient place...

The ladies of City Rooms made our stay exquisite! Upon arrival Sandra was waiting to take our cases - free of charge! The only downside was that my friends and I had to pay for our room all together rather than separately which made the distribution of change rather confusing - especially because none of us really understood how to...

I had a single room, it was very small with just the double bed, a desk and a mirror. I think the hostel used to be a flat so the only common area ks the long corridor. Everything was clean and the lady was kind. Only bad aspect: third floor without elevator.

Booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 nights. Got the top floor (3rd floor). I can understand other people's frustration if you are at a lower floor as the apartments are located within a court that is packed with restaurants, bars, and clubs so it can get really noisy. The top floor was quite quiet & especially if you have...

We decided to book for a couple room because my cousin who was here before recommended us this place. It can seem a ruin building outdoors, specially When you come in and see the hall (almost like in a horror movie). However the hostel is completly the opposite, it is new with a nice decoration and very clean (for me...

First of all, this hostel's most attractive feature is good price/performance rate. We went budapest 2 people. And for 5 nights we paid 47 euro per person (include taxes). One of the most important things for tourists is wi-fi. This hostel's wi-fi is good and accesability is good for every corner of hostel. Rooms are clean. Hostel's purpose for mine;...

Room was small but clean. Location is quite good. Walking distance to old town, Gozdu etc. Kettle, plates and cups available. Downside: Reception may not have people at all time. TV didn't work most times. Coffee machine was also not functional. No lifts, the hostel is on 3rd level and the only way to get is walk.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
