We were greeted in a very friendly manner and everything was explained and shown to us. We had one of the apartments facing the inside of the building. It was clean and spacious for the two of us. It was good to have a kitchen area to make tea and to put things in the fridge. It was quiet and...

The dormitory room is small and if you want to use laundry that would be charged unless you stay at least 4 nights. The advantage for travelers is location. Bus stops and Metro are quite near, and also many perfect restaurants around the area.

The Hostel is good for location and staff but there is a quality difference between their rooms. Some rooms are new and cleaner than the others. If you are lucky you stay in renovated rooms. The others are old and noisy. And the people were noisy although there was a frame rules in every room that says "this is not...

I was travelling with a friend and wanted a room with no shared bathroom. Friends hostel also has apartments so we took one. Very nice and clean. But it was not in the same building.. we had to walk 10 minutes carrying our lugage and worse.. when we got to the place.. it didn't have elevator (we were travelling with...

Positively excellent experience at Friends. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I suppose if you're 20something and want a party place, you'll be disappointed. However that I am not, and I was so happy with peace and quiet and tranquil surroundings. There aren't too many rooms so the feeling is very inclusive and helps with the low key vibe and...

Absolutely loved this place. It was in the best location to get around, surrounded by restaurants and shops. We walked everywhere and found it so easy to locate our destinations. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The facilities are wonderful and clean. The place looks so modern and clean. I went with my partner and we loved every second. Our...

Me and my two friends booked a room for 2 nights in a separat apartment. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us some useful tips for our trip. The position of the hostel was very central so that you can reach most things by foot. Our flat had a big size but could have been cleaned more carefully (some...

We booked double private room with private bathroom. When we arrive in the hostel the girl there told us we are going to stay in a different building. At first we were a bit septic, but when we got to the place we noticed that we have accommodation in a private apartment in a renovated historical building on Andrassy street!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Myself and a friend booked a private twin room with ensuite for two nights in February. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly female member of staff who was very helpful. My friend had managed to leave her phone in the taxi to the hostel, and as the hostel had arranged the transfer for it she immediately phoned the...

The place is pretty difficult to find but they send you a very detailed email with pretty specific instructions (good on them!) The staff I encountered were also lovely and wanted to help and were very friendly. It was strange though that they asked you to take your shoes off- and just that slight inconvenience in a hostel (considering you...

“The room you have is likely dependent on how many are in your party. The facilities were clean, the location is fabulous, that bathrooms, common area and kitchen are shared, but more than adequate... and they offer rental bikes on property, which is a very nice feature as Budapest is bicycle friendly... but the most important asset of this facility if the FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF!!”
