The entrance to this updated old building is funky to say the least. We found the location great for accessing everywhere - buy a transit pass and you can get anywhere. The parliament buildings are close by as is the river. Rooms are a bit smallish but they are fitted out well. Breakfast is very good and covers all you will...

I purchased a groupon for a 10 day trip to Eastern Europe. After looking at the first hotels, I contacted the travel agency to change our hotels and they recommended Hotel Parlament. I'm SO happy we upgraded. This hotel was wonderful. The European breakfast was delicious, the rooms bigger than you'd expect and the sauna and jacuzzi were a welcome...

This place is situated near the parliament of Hungary. The rooms are nice, tidy and big. The double room is huge and gives lot of space to place your baggage and move around. Staff is very polite, helpful and hospitable. Breakfast is good but not so good for pure vegetarians ( no meat, fish and egg).

We stayed for 3 nights over Valentine's Day, the staff are so friendly and so willing to help. The hotel itself is immaculately clean with a funky design. A really nice touch was complimentary free hot drinks, very welcoming in -2 temperatures. We were sad to leave, will be recommending to all our friends and family.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
