Just back from five nights at this excellent hotel. Rooms well appointed and very clean. Staff outstanding. Excellent breakfast. Free tea/coffee/cold drinks in upper lobby/bar area until 5pm. Didn't use sauna etc, but these looked very good too. Computer facilities to print off boarding passes etc, but reception offered to do this anyway. Walking distance to attractions such as Parliament...

This is an excellent hotel to use as a base for a city break. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and charming, the rooms are spotlessly clean and of a good size, and its location near to the tram and buses is ideal. No restaurant as such but the breakfast buffet was very good indeed. Our recommendation would be...

Exceptional hotel, handily located close to the Parlament and within walking distance of many attractions. The room was modern and spacious and I couldn't praise the staff enough - without exception, all were friendly and polite and went the extra mile. Dominic the barman was exceptional. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice. Would recommend.

We spent 5 nights in this hotel and we couldn't fault it. It's in an old building, but with a modern interior renovation. It's well located in a quiet road behind the parliament but within easy walking distance of Andrassy Ut, Vorosmarty Ter, etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and...

My boyfriend and I have just returned from an amazing 3 night holiday at the Hotel Parlament. Bit disappointed with this hotel considering the amount we paid. Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
