Really nice hotel, different to the usual city hotel, with the tall central atrium. Rooms are huge (we had a suite through diamond elite status). It's only a 10 min walk to great bars and restaurants, so a good location. Very inexpensive for what it is.

This hotel really has the wow factor. I don't ever remember having breakfast in a hotel where people around you are taking photos as the surroundings are so opulent. If you are staying here, make sure to add the breakfast to your booking if it is not already included - there is lovely piano music playing in the background and... More

I was fortunate to travel to Budapest in February and stay at the Boscolo. From the moment I walked in I was impressed with the hotel - both the staff and the hotel itself. This building is absolutely stunning. I couldn't take too many pictures. I had one of the smaller rooms with not much of a view but I... More

This is a truely amazing hotel. Our room was in the new part but was still excellent, really clean and everything you could need except a kettle for my early morning tea. We just asked for one from reception and it was delivered within minutes. The New York Cafe is lovely and we enjoyed our breakfast each day and afternoon... More

We just stayed at the Boscolo and highly recommend it. It is a quality hotel with impeccable service. Everyone was warm, friendly and very helpful. We included the breakfast which was superior to others we've experienced, and very convenient to start each day. We departed at 4am and they packed breakfast bags for us since the dining room wasn't open.... More

I visited this hotel for three nights in March with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful stay. Stayed in room 460 which was big clean and modern. No coffee or tea facilities in the room (classic double) but they were avaliable in the lobby. Breakfast was fantastic I haven't yet been to a hotel which has a better selection.... More

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Pest. Very elegant interior. Wonderful breakfast. The best asset of the hotel is its staff, I have stayed in several hotels in Budapest and it is the first time I met such polite, friendly, helpful, professional staff. I was on a leisure trip with a friend, and we enjoyed every second of it. My... More

We have recently returned from an amazing trip to Budapest, staying at the superb 5* Hotel Boscolo Budapest. The trip was planned by the wife for a 4 night city break as a birthday gift. We flew with Jet2 from East Midlands and had a pleasant flight into Budapest with transfers to the Hotel. Upon arrival at the check in... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
