Just returned from a long weekend in Budapest, where we stayed at the Boscolo. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room we had was spacious and extremely comfortable. All the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. We would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and stay here again without hesitation. Breakfast in the New York Café is a worthwhile...

This is a beautiful hotel with a great restaurant on site. Our room was modern and the decor was lovely. This hotel had an amazing concierge who helped with many of our questions and provided recommendations on where to go for dinner. This hotel is also on the "Hop on, Hop off"bus line which was very convenient since we got...

I stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend and we had an Executive Suite. I loved absolutely everything about our stay. The building itself is an architectonic masterpiece and very beautiful to look at. You'll find pleasure in spending time in the entrance hall. What is more, the New York Café is a part of the hotel. This café is...

This is a very nice hotel, amazing decor, great service, large rooms. The location is perfect in walking distance to most places in Budapest. We had booked a superior room with an extra bed ad we travelled 3 persons - the room was apprx. 40m2 so plenty of space. The extra bed however was not a joy. We enjoyed an...

Have stayed in a few hotels in Budapest but this one is still my number one preference. Very nice building with nice staff and nice rooms. The classic room is a bit small but anything above that is more than satisfactory. Really recommend it for any kind of visit.

To say that this hotel is breathtaking is an understatement. The building itself is so beautiful. They have the New York Cafe, probably the most beautiful restaurant I've ever been in. Even the lower level, where you get breakfast in the morning, is opulent and gorgeous. We were on the top floor, in a room that looked like it should...

Had a very large comfortable room, the proportions did remind me of an upscale American hotel. Breakfast was very good and the central atrium is very impressive, reasonable gym facilities. I didn't find the pool area very relaxing as was neither suitable for swimming (too full) or relaxing (noisy tour groups in there), but then again there are some great...

A lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Local bars very cheap but full of 20 to 30 year olds not far to walk to opera area where there are nice restaurants and bars for the slightly older clientele.the dining area is known as New York cafe and definitely worth a visit. Prague but without the stage and hen parties.so far...

We have just returned from spending a wonderful few days here.. Right from the booking, emails were answered.. Our needs were met. Upon arrival at the airport our private driver (which was pre email arranged!) was waiting, cold water in the car also! Fantastic greeting, from Tamas at reception, even taking time to explain the history of the hotel. Just...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
