Good location, adequate rooms (cheap beds) good shower, all areas were clean. Reception and cleaning staff great, breakfast manager and staff very surly. Stayed for 5 nights and only once did I see the empty hot (lukewarm) bacon and scrambled eggs being filled up. Manager more interested in rushing around looking busy replacing crockery and sauce sachets than attending to...

A good hotel in a great location a stones throw from the Danube and the Liberty bridge and indoor market. Great for walking to and from the other attractions. This hotel represents good value for money and has friendly staff. Decent breakfast and good wifi. Clean and comfortable rooms with a good shower. For what it is I can't really...

Great location, lovely bar area with not too pricey drinks and the staff are helpful and friendly. The Breakfast was ok and enough choice would class as average. Great Value for money. The rooms are small but not ridiculously so and there's two small single duvets on the double bed I found out on the last day you can ask...

Great location but, from my point of view, it does not reach the required quality to be labelled as a 4-star hotel. Rooms are tiny and walls are very thin. Service needs to improve a lot if they really want to be seen as a 4-star hotel. As an example, the night we checked-in, we asked for two sandwiches to...

Just back from staying here for 4 days from 5th to 9th February, The hotel was clean enough but rooms were very small and beds hard and very low, wall very thin , you could hear the guests next door talking all night , plus noise from hallways outside rooms, there were 6 coathangers and nowhere to put your clothes...

Stayed 3 nights bed and breakfast, quite a generous award of 4star but the stay was nice, room was basic but OK and staff friendly. Great location and very good breakfast. The shower was absolutely fantastic.

I have to share with you my yesterday experience in this Bacon, sorry - Boutique hotel. We have booked the hotel on our way to Budapest (coming home from the holiday in Austrian Alpes via Hungary to stay one night there) and our decision was based on its really great reviews. Unfortunatelly, they were not true and we would never...

This is right at the Liberty Bridge on the Pest side. Hotel is clean and breakfast satisfactory. The stuff fluent in English and very helpful. I cannot say the room was amazing because of its size and no view at all, but it is very clean and quiet. Famous Gellert thermal baths right after the bridge along the other great...

This hotel is located so very perfectly close to the river. It's easy to start a day of exploring and find your way back via the local landmarks. The rooms are comfortable and bathrooms well kitted out. Loved the pull out mirror and cute foot stool under the sink. I'm small so this was ideal for getting ready. The view...

Great for a short break. Ideally located. We went mid November for the Christmas markets & weren't disappointed. Our rooms were very chic & warm & clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice & plenty of it too. Lovely place...oh & right next door to a small cafe with delicious cakes!!! Perfect. Street foods were amazing too.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
