For the price we payed the size of the room was good, do not expect it to be cleaned everyday but for a budget place I expected as much. Perfect location, so close to everything and only a £2 and 50 minute train journey from the airport. Perfect for a couple who like to party and see this as just...

The worst place i ever been. Bathroom was disgusting one towel per person, shower door missing, shower handle was terrible, no warm water. We didn't get fresh towels or even toilet paper next day. Pillows were missing. Dust and spider webs on the walls. No proper reception. Awful experience glad we only went for a couple of days

Daughter got charged 53€ for two glasses of red wine. Couldn't get sense out of manager as he was very obviously drunk. We'd eaten in there twice & food ok but we didn't check the bill too closely, so we were probably overcharged then, too.

Lack of bath towels, water not warm enough to take shower, terrible design of bathroom, scouse wet floor in whole bathrobe after one min. of taking shower. Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Week and unpleasant furnishings. Room was not serviced. Unable to pay by card (supposedly terminal problem). Worst hotel I have ever been. Considering price even worse.

I should preface this by saying we read reviews beforehand. We were attracted by the price and location. Please check out the visitor photos if you are doing the same. Good points: Location is excellent; WiFi is excellent in room 7 (as a previous traveller mentioned that it is inconsistent in other rooms); It was fairly clean (more on this...

Luckily we didn't stay here, but did sit down for lunch in the restaurant/pizzeria on Saturday 3.9.2016. Took ages for waiting staff to take our order and over 30 minutes for food to arrive. When it did it was pretty good, filling, tasty, meaty and moderately priced for central Budapest.

The servers sat just a couple of feets away smoking constantly. They seemed more occupied with having the tables occupied than serving their guests. Food took way too long and the other guests was seemingly just as irritated as us. My girlfriend also got very sick a couple of hours later which was probably because of this horrible place. Never...

This was the worst meal I've ever had. I can't believe we paid $50 for food worse than any airplane, cafeteria or hospital food. They're overpriced with terrible service. The onion soup was mostly onion with creamy water that tasted like ot was out of the can. The pork cutlet with tomato sauce tasted like it came from an old...

There are pros and cons with this place, but on balance I'm giving it a (just about) 3 star review. The pros are easy: great location on the main tourist street and the price is very cheap for the area. The room is reasonably comfortable and it is secure with its own bathroom and TV, so all that is good....

**MEAL ONLY** Walked past here on our way to look at the market which we were too late for. We had been given a flyer by someone outside the hotel restaurant, with 4 food deal options at 1990ft each, one option was Goulash Soup followed by Paprika Chicken and dumplings, just what we fancied. Staff were perfectly friendly served us...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
