What a place! Right on Buda hill! A historical 18th century palace turned into a hotel. A five star property. We had a double room and our friends had a suite. The hotel has a central courtyard where we had our welcome drink and a soup. The rooms are huge and done extremely tastefully with imperial furniture. Antique dark wood... More

We got to the hotel late at night, and were happily accepted by the nice staff who took care we were settled and won't go to sleep hungry after the flight. The hotel is beautiful, a kind medieval castle look. Big comfortable room. Great staff We had a great stay!

This is an ok hotell service wise, really nice rooms work space ams comfort. Not really super modern or top class equipment, so I would call this 4 star rather than 5. However we enjoyed the stay here for a long weekend.

We were on Room 1.It was beautiful! The staff at the front desk were very helpful and accommodating.there was a lovely little garden, with tables where you could eat or drink. We absolutely loved this little hotel full of charm in the heart of the castle district of Buda. You are feet away from fisherman's bastion and the is a great restaurant just across the street (Buda-Pest) for you to enjoy a typical Hungarian meal. The hotel was VERY clean and all the rooms are furnished with antique furniture. Our room... More

The quality and size of accommodation at this apartment hotel was exceptional and far exceeded our expectations. All reception rooms were beautifully restored and presented with period furniture throughout. Every day the walk to reception was a visual treat! The staff were extremely helpful and the location is superb.

Staying in District I / Buda

Neighbourhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
