The Palatinus Hotel is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Sopron, in the middle of the historical city-center, 200 meters away from the symbol of the city, the “Tűztorony” (Firetower). Our 34 rooms are suitable for for exploring Sopron and the surrounding enviroment . We have single rooms, double rooms and family rooms, where we welcome our prospective guests to relax or to refresh from their journey. Our hotel is distinguished starting point to the cognition of the city’s sights, close to famous cafes’, restaurants’ discovery, excursions. We offer opportunities at our reception – through our partners – to take part in a wide range of recreation programs, at our webpage you can find detailed descripsons of these numerous programms. We loved our experience in this hotel. Well designed with attention to every detail. Practical and thoughtful touches everywhere. They use a great cosmetic/ shampoo/shower gel/soap brand Botanics. The bathrooms are modern and extremely clean. Cleaning staff even makes origami from toilet paper:)
Bed is very comfortable and bedding is pleasant. We had coffee/tea maker capsules machine in the room and the cattle as well. Good size and quality TV . Clean wooden floors. Good fridge and hairdryer.
Very friendly and helpful staff on both days. We had a nice breakfast for every taste:) Lovely kitchen ladies!
We have staid before in some hotels in Sopron but this one is a great value for a money there.
The whole experience was just perfect!

They were very helpful in everything, thank you! There was a problem with one of the sockets in the bathroom, which is why they immediately offered me another room. Our weekend stay was perfect in this hotel; its location made exploring the city easy and comfortable, the cosy, air-conditioned room and bed made our night's sleep quite relaxing. Also the breakfast was delicious and diverse! I would recommend the hotel for anyone!

The hotel is an elegant, nice place to stay in thwe heart of the city. The staff is very nice and helpful, the breakfast is delicious and you can choose from a wide variety of food and drinks, including milk alternatives if you need them. There are lots of places to visit or to eat nearby.

Kind, attentive, helpful staff. The rooms are clean and well laid out. The breakfast is delicious and has a wide selection of drinks, cold dishes and freshly prepared food. Many attractions can be found within a few minutes' walking distance.

A classy, clean hotel in the city center, with well-equipped rooms, enough hangers and hangers. Towel dryer with radiator in the bathroom. I highly recommend it to vegans, they won't go hungry at breakfast here, like in other hotels. The staff is very kind and helpful, smiling.

We stayed 3 nights, second floor, with view at the street.
Nicely decorated rooms, clean, but quite small.
Very nice and helpful receptionists!
The hotel is situated on a fairly quiet street in the old town. Very small and tight parking in the inner courtyard, very narrow gate, paid additionally 10EUR/night (max. 8 cars).
Coffee facilities at the room but only 2 capsules of coffee and 2 with tea - if you want more you have to pay at the reception. Safe box at the room.
Breakfasts are good and varied.
The only drawback can be quite noisy groups of youth excursions, both in the corridors and at breakfast area.
Generally, a hotel worth recommending, especially if someone cares about parking.
