Were for 3 days with our little dog in this beautiful city hotel and can only recommend it. The location is at most 10 minutes walk to the beautiful old town, a great cafe and the very good Deak Etterem restaurant. Parking is best for 10 euros per day in the large underground car park, all parking spaces in the area are subject to charge! The staff is consistently friendly, breakfast in the not very large room well organized, so you always get a place. Rooms cozy but simply furnished. So there are no cupboards, only a modern chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The beds were very cozy with good mattresses. On the roof there is a small garden with a few loungers. The dog was lovingly received, it was brought a bed, 2 bowls and treats. Nevertheless, I think the amount for 25 euros per day is excessive, especially since we have paid a maximum of 12.50 euros in a castle hotel in Hungary so far. The vicinity to the old town seems very interesting, as many houses are not inhabited and resemble ruins. Directly opposite the huge box is empty. You can't look in the windows for that either. Especially at night this seems very exciting, but still a very safe area! Small supermarket in the hotel street less than 5 minutes away. Good tip for sightseeing in the old town, where there is hardly any parking and you have to go through a barrier.

We just visited you for the first time. Getting into the underground garage and parking was a bit difficult. At breakfast, the staff is kind and helpful. The food and drink selection is adequate. The cleanliness of the room (cobwebs and dust on the windowsills) and the descaling of the bathroom (the water did not come out of the shower heads properly) could be a little more precise. Anyway, we had a good time. We wish you many more guests!

A very pleasant and clean hotel with friendly staff and an excellent, varied, fresh and tasty breakfast. 5 minutes walking distance from Széchenyi Square (Petőfi Theatre), 10 minutes walking distance from the Fire Tower. Rooms are comfortable, with blinds for shading (5* for me) + Nespresso coffee machine :) What's extra is that the temperature of each room is individually adjustable, you can ask at reception to set it.
Only annoying thing was the lack of proper soundproofing. Unfortunately you can hear both the noise from the room next door, the noise from the water/sewer system and the noise from the street at night.

The hotel is located in the city center within easy reach the sights.The bus stop is next to the hotel. Rooms are well-equipped with a bath tube or walk-in shower. Breakfast is plentiful and gluten-sensitive guests can choose from the offer. The reception staff is kind, I would like to highlight Dóra's helpful attitude. I highly recommend this accommodation in Sopron.

We had a lot of fun! The hotel is in a great location, from which the city center of Sopron can be easily reached on foot. The breakfast was also delicious, with a wide selection. Parking is arranged in the underground garage, which is a big help. We would love to come back :)

Very good location, only a few hundred meters from the hsitoric inner city. Modern new looking rooms, everything's clean, good breakfast. The air conditioning was quite loud at times but I'm sure they'll fix it. The staff was helpful. Good parking spot outside on the street.

Modern rooms with air conditioner, coffe machine and fridge. Delicious breakfast. Great location, 5 mins walk to the old downtown, 15 mins from the train station. Delicious restaurants nearby. Very polite stuff. Good choice for your money.

Clean, modern hotel close to the old town city center. It's just 700 meters away by walk. Christmas vibes in main square with celebration lights and hot wine. Great atmosphere. It is nice to visit Sopron in every season of the year and Civitas Hotel is a great place to discover and with a good price.

Came here for a short weekend with friends. Employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good! Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. TV did not work and they could not solve it. They promissed to repair it the next day but that did not happen. Limited hot water late night. All in all ok but nothing special.
