A small monastery has been transformed into a small elegant retreat hotel. The rooms are fairly large with a comfortable bed and sofa/seating area. Decor is understated with lots of dark wood and elegant but simple linens that reflect the former monastery use.
The monastery hotel has been refurbished with a perfect ballance to keep the old atmosphere and to provide the new functions. It should be a best practice for all such hotels. The kitchen and the service was marvelous.
