It was supposed to start on Saturday at 4 p.m. Unfortunately, we didn't get to leave until 1:30 p.m., and we told them that. When we arrived at 4:30 p.m., everything had been cancelled. The colleagues at reception then called a colleague. What can I say, the look says more than a thousand words. I would have loved to turn around immediately.
They then rebooked everything for the children, but for us adults this was no longer possible. Our son's girlfriend wanted to get her nails done, but that wasn't possible either, even though we hadn't had a manicure at all.
We then went to the room and were disappointed again: chipped walls, mould in the bathroom on the terrace, loose floorboards so you could trip, missing screws on the parapet and broken glass. I took pictures and a video, the video shows that we didn't book the room alone. Wellness is different for me.
Lunch would have been included for the children, but it wasn't even offered, but they did charge for it. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, at least we couldn't find it. For breakfast you walk through Manicure Street, which of course gives you a real taste of breakfast.

We booked a beauty package for three teenagers and were given a very friendly welcome at reception. We then had the appointments, which were OK. After that the girls had a spa program. Water was very cold, sauna not in use. Lunch was a frozen pizza for 6000 forints. When we paid we were in for a huge surprise. The price was extremely high. Of course you had to pay extra for the additional programs, but it was massively inflated!!!!!!!! So never again Wabi. Pure rip-off!!!!!!! Treatments more expensive than in Austria.

The prices have gone up a lot, at the checkout you are charged for treatments that you have not used, unfortunately recently the ladies you have booked (I have my favorite ladies for pedicures, cosmetics and hairdressing) are not available even if you booked a month in advance, which is annoying when you have to travel so far!! The ladies themselves can't do anything about it, it's the reception's fault!!!

I have been a regular customer at the WABI Beauty Center for about 15 years and regularly treat myself to a beauty day about once a month. The treatments I receive are of very good quality - but I only book them with "my" carers, who I have known for years and very well. It pays to remember the name if you were satisfied with someone. I especially like going there for the massage with Adam - the best massages of my life. The building is a bit older now, it is constantly being modernized. I don't know the hotel. The staff are mostly very friendly and helpful (sometimes with exceptions). My appointments always work out quite well (sometimes I have to wait a little, but that's not a problem for me) - but I notice that there are a few things that could be improved organizationally. What surprises me: two significant price increases within a year. Last year 10% and now (November 2023) 20-30%. This means that WABI is at least as expensive as comparable centers in Austria. It is no longer worth going there just for 1-2 treatments. (from Austria) In times of economic crisis, customers will think twice about whether they want to accept this price increase or not. I had highlights done all over my head, which turned out too grey/white and cost almost €90. After I urged them, I was given a new appointment, which was then cancelled due to illness. When I went there 3 weeks later, they gave me a new colour and then, without prior agreement, charged me almost €40 again, but they gave me a €9 discount. The staff at reception were not understanding, nor was the management. The most expensive highlights ever... As the saying goes: "The fish starts to stink from the head" Never again!

I was at Wabi quite regularly before Covid, not since. So when I read the last (consistently quite negative) reviews, I didn't really want to go there anymore. I went there yesterday with two friends anyway. I didn't really have high expectations, but I was taught better. First, the positive: You can finally pay by card!!! There is also a cash machine in front of the entrance. That was quite a nuisance for me before. If you pay with cash, you can do that now by machine - also good. I noticed that there were fewer customers compared to "before Covid". This has a positive effect, there is a lot of space in the waiting area and there were almost no waiting times for me, although I would have had some. I once quickly bought an (excellent) stuffed croissant for about € 2,- in between, but I pay much more in Austria. The cosmetics were professional and good. The back massage was done by a Thai - was also very good if you like Thai massage. The pedicure took over an hour for me, I had ordinary polish. The manicure was good and professional. I noticed that the staff consists mostly of very friendly and nice Thais. Now the little things I didn't like quite so much: Minor damage is obviously not repaired regularly. There are, for example, wallpaper flaking from the wall in partial areas, loose stones, etc. There are hardly any Hungarian staff, so there is only Thai massage, for example. Worst service! We booked 6 appointments by phone, all in a row. When we got there after a 1 hour drive, the staff member told us that none of our appointments are listed anymore and she could do nothing. She neither apologized nor offered us any form of compensation or apology. Another insolence is that no ATM payment was possible that day, so they were forced to withdraw money from their ATM with a fee of 15€. Wabi is everything but not hotel. The place is designed to take care about the hair, skin and body of the Austrian neighbors. On the top floor are some rooms considered to be "hotel". The furniture inside the room is 2 stars level (no table, for ex.) and the bathroom is a nightmare for someone having the weight bigger than 95 kg: simply can't step inside the shower cabin (was the situation of our friend). No minibar, the restaurant closes at 20:00 and Wabi is completely out of the town. When we stayed was a terrible smell in all the area, impossible to open the window. Be aware that are not accepting credit cards for paying!! Breakfast very poor. For this we have paid 90 Euro/night, more than we have paid in center of Vienna!!!! The positive things are the personnel, nice and helpful, and the Wi-Fi. All in one, if you don't intend to become customer of the clinic, stay away of this place!

Hotel rooms are only on one floor, the others are occupied by nail studio, massage, hairdresser, dental care, plastic surgery, wellness, etc. Reception operates only till 8 pm, then there is only a safety guard to open and close the entrance door. 'Hotel' room is small, curtains do not provide darkness for sleeping, sound insulation is poor, large bathroom-window looks to another room's terrace, the choice of TV programs includes 8-10 German and 1 (!) Hungarian channel... You receive an armband for debits and a key card to the room - why not integrated???. Wellness is theoretically open from 8 am to 8 pm, but at 9 am, saunas are still not heated up. There is slippery in the whole wellness area. A good point: there is a fine choice of breakfast package offerings with funny names.
