I'd recommend the Sarunas if you get a good rate as we did. When you first arrive, you may think you're in the middle of nowhere. In reality, the hotel is about a ten to fifteen minute walk to the top of the Old Town. There arent a great any places to eat around the vicinity, but the Sports Bar...

This hotel was good and the staff where pretty helpful. The rooms where clean and large. The beds were on the old side in terms of being semi comfortable and a little on the hard side. They only have feather pillows and did not have non allergenic ones. We were originally put in a wrong room and they quickly changed...

We stayed here for two nights. It was not easy to find, not being on the main road, its tucked behind, and has an enclosed entrance. The rooms are massive, ours had a double and two singles, seating area and huge bathroom in it. Its very basic, I cant say the beds were terribly comfortable. However I would have paid...

My impression of Sarunas is that it is intended more for business people. We received a complementary upgrade to a suite, and "Room" 200 is massive (it used to be two separate rooms). Beautiful triple aspect walk-in bay window, huge 3 piece suite, massive bathroom, but the shower curtain was inadequate to keep the water off the floor. We stayed...

Rooms are very clean and the hotel is in a fairly good location. You should have no problems walking at night. I would recommend for a solo traveler, but if you are looking for a romantic getaway you might consider some guesthouses are staying in the central. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good too.

Good location, good price for quality. But old design. In fact, it seemed like an old communist style design - the room was huge, but there were lacking pillows for second person. The bathroom was rather small compared to the huge size of the room. For budget traveling, it's quite worth the money, but definitely not worth if you can...

The room is spacious enough for 4* hotel. But furniture and bathroom equipment is only for 2-3*. There was a siiting area in the room. There were minibar, TV, hairdryer, conditioner, but no safe. Free parking and Wi-Fi. The receptionists were very nice. It was quiet at night. Breakfast was ok - musli, yogurt, cheese, bekon, tomatoes, cucumbers, boiled and...

Although we had to move rooms a few times in the beginning, due to only the third floor only having individual a/c, the staff could not be more accommodating and pleasant for the entire 7 days we were there. Our room was huge with a bathroom big enough to be a hotel room in other European hotels. The only drawback...

...it more than makes up for in sterility. This business-oriented hotel could have been plucked from the vacinity of any airport in the midwestern U.S. And you know what, that was fine with us. In a country that acknowledges its service industry is often lacking, the staff was friendly and willing to speak English. The rooms were spic and span...

We just got back from 3 nights in Vilnius. The hotel was generally pretty good. The food was particularly good and also far from expensive, like pretty much everything else in Vilnius. The service was also pretty good. The only negative was the fact the restaurant closed before 8 on Saturday night (being Easter Saturday...), but we were directed next...

“Hotel has no lifts, so if you have some disabilities and difficulties to go upstairs, better to choose room on the first floor. Also, select room with air-conditioner at spring and autumn seasons, to use it as heater in case of heating is not switched on in the hotel.”
