what an absolute Hole, this place has no redeeming features.. except maybe the bar downstairs... the toilets haven't been cleaned in a million years, the showers are plugged up with the pubic hair of the last 100 people that have stayed there, no mirrors on the walls, the public lounge area has been closed and boarded up for renovations for...

I visited Tallinn in November, we were welcomed cordially. The prices were more than reasonable and the hostel is nice and warm. I sincerely reccommend it to any traveller that is looking for an inexpensive hostel with good atmosphere, fair and nice staff, right in the middle of the old town, close to everything :))

Never seen such a bad hostel ever. Very dirty everywhere, especially the bathrooms and showers, no reception, (we paid in a corridor, only cash because are not accepted credit cards) no friendly staff and cold rooms. It's even not easy to find it. Never again. Save you holidays and go somewhere else.

First of all: It was an interesting experience. The actual name of the hostel is nowhere stated at the door or the building, so it was pure luck that we met the reception guy getting a smoke outside asking us what we were looking for. Second, until you get to your actual room, you have to walk through dungeons of...

For the price given this is a reasonable hostel. Do not expect luxury accommodation. It is all very basic and works. Wifi works most of the times, however, in some rooms it doesn't work so well. Staff is friendly and understanding.

Excellent location in central Old Town, friendly staff and a VERY cheap stay (the receptionist even gave me a free towel). The décor is 'bohemian', if I edge towards optimism, but ultimately the hostel is quite shabby with holes in my bed linen and generally dirty rooms and bathrooms. The locks were difficult to work and if it wasn't for...

We had a booking for our first night in Tallinn and arrived to hostel after 20.00. We had a hard time finding the hostel outer door because there is no sign whatsoever at the alley. Ok, eventually we managed to get in and the place looked dirty and very bohemish. After we got our beds and linen we settled in...

Cheap, cheap and cheap that's about it. Ok, the services was average. Dirty and still wet sheets. Very poor indoor air, the room smelled like old cheese. It seems no one cares about cleaning over there. Not going there again.

Pros: The Dancing Eesti has a spacious kitchen with all the basic necessary conveniences. It has a very social vibe and I imagine that you could meet knew people very easily there if you felt like it. The Australian owner of the hostel is friendly and knows the city really well. The rooms are okay; each one has several outlets,...
