We were a group of around 10-15 people, stayed a few nights there back in 2012. Really comfortable place to warm up our ice frozen bones! Didn't take us a lot of effort to find it when arriving via bus. We could cook in the kitchen, have a hot bath and chat with other residents in the living room. Nice floors, cute bunk beds made me feel like a child. More

This is a basic but pleasant place for an overnight -or longer if you are backpacking. It is surprisingly well appointed with good floors, comfortable bunk beds , two shared toilet/showers, and decent cooking facilities if you bring your own ingredients. Microwave, fridges, washing machine. For 12 euros a night (plus 2 euros for 24 hrs of wifi,) this is a good deal.
It helps to know some Russian! The managers are Russian and so are many guests! But they all have some English and are helpful.
It can be a bit tricky to locate. In Kaupmehe street, it is the wooden green building opposite number 15. From the Viru keksus/Centre, where the 2 airport bus stops ,I paid 3 euros for a taxi; with my two big cases it was worth it. It is not a short walk if you are laden.
