Everything was fine. Actually, I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago, so I knew what to expect. My room was in the rear, so it was quiet. Although the hotel has an elevator from ther lobby to the rooms, there is a flight of steps to get into the hotel, which might be a problem for some.

Stayed at the hotel for a long weekend break, it is a ten minute walk into the old town and was a pleasant way to start and end the day. The room was clean and well presented, small shower room which was perfectly adequate Reception staff very friendly and spoke excellent English - didn't make breakfast (too many late nights)...

Back from a trip to Riga. Stayed in the Tia - ok for a place to put your head down but too far out of the centre for our liking - a good 20-25 min walk to the old town. Could get taxis on the road outside the hotel without too much problem - cost about 4-5 Lats to get...

The location of the hotel is not bad at all, although allow at least half an hour walk till Old Riga. Hotel shares same building with insurance company and couple of others. Which means they all have same entrance and thus every one can go to the floor with the rooms if the security guard (only one) is not watching....

You get what you pay for. Armed guard at the downstairs bank somewhat off putting. Early morning alarm call, unasked for, courtesy of what can only be assumed to be a kitchen porters pot scrubbing master class! BEWARE of asking reception to book a taxi to airport as an executive taxi four times the price of Riga taxis, which you...

Let me start with the few good points 1) only 10 mins from the centre and skyline bar 2) 24 hour reception, free internet and relatively clean rooms HOWEVER 1) we were charged £30 for small amount of makeup on the wall which in turn wiped off leaving no trace...

Stayed for 2 nights early july. Its a little too far from centre. Paid £60 a night as booked early. Bathrooms are clean, new but cramped. The actual rooms are old and seen better days. The people who stayed opposite our room were heavy smokers and it drifted into our room, which wasn't great. Breakfast was basic and not much...
