Together with my nephew I spent one week in this beautiful home with two lovely hosts. They are caring, charming, intelligent, supportive and full of interesting information. I highly recommend everybody to stay there! Connection to City Center via tramway is quick and easy, a beautiful lake within a 5 Min walking distantance and a lot of history around this...

I simply picked this place based on the Tripadvisor reviews and the fact that it was away from the city centre. Despite Riga city itself might seem a bit grey and depressed, I loved this house. Located in a nice residential area, around 25 mins by tram from the city centre and a few minutes walk from the stop. 10...

This experience was absolutely magical! Such beautiful, kind, and caring hosts. I felt as though i was staying with family. Such a charming place. A few minutes walk from the tram, which is minutes away from old town.

A wonderful place to stay. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly. Loved our chats with both Diga and Ric about life in Riga. The house and garden is a delight, including Jonathan the seagull and his early morning wake-up calls. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a delight - not only the food but company. Such...

Wonderful home, wonderful people, wonderful hosts, wonderful food, and a wonderful time at Homestay. Diga and Ric really go above and beyond to make you at home and comfortable, and enrich your Riga experience. If you are planning a trip to Riga, you really must stay at Homestay. My husband and I loved the 4 days we spent with Diga and Rick in June 2014 . The house is beautiful and set in a large garden district so it's quiet and peaceful and the short tram ride into town gave us charming overview of the Latvian capital. Rick really goes all out for breakfast and there are always...

Me and my husband are doctors from India. We visited Riga for a medical conference. I am very glad that my husband arranged for us to stay with Diga and Ric. He read some fabulous reviews on Tripadvisor. Homestay turned out to be our most delightful experience in Riga. We were warmly welcomed by Ric and Diga to their pretty...

Everything and more is true about staying with our incredibly lovely hosts Diga and Ric at the Homestay. When we arrived late on a Friday night we were charmed by our spacious, and beautifully appointed and individually outfitted room: A nice, big and comfy bed, a huge day bed, dresser, wardrobe and a little quaint table for two. The room...

Overall-good experience. Absolutely beautiful house and very helpful once I was there. However, service when I was booking/planning was less than great. Seemed like they didn't really want guests at all. Long delay in responding to emails. Phone number and email address from site didn't work, etc. But was I was there, very hospitable and helpful environment. Another minus-it's not...

Had we gone to an ordinary hotel, we wouldn't have learned half as much about Riga as we did by staying with Ric and Diga. Warm, hospitable, helpful - it was like visiting an aunt and uncle, but without the familial obligations. Thanks to our hosts, we left feeling like we'd got a sense of the history, culture and values...

HOMESTAY is where we live. Our house is a friendly eco-build log house in the leafy diplomatic suburb of Mezaparks; Europe's first Garden City. We usually do a free tour of the Art Nouveau and Deco buildings after the best cooked breakfast in Riga. We have 1 large double as well as 2 100m2 fully self contained luxury short or long term apartments. Plenty of secure parking is available. The tram to Riga center takes 20 minutes. There are great facilities on our doorstep. Forest, Lake, boating, cycling, golf, BMX track, tennis, squash, fitness, saunas and a couple of class restaurants. We will gladly lend you our tandem. Book early. If in doubt stay the extra few days to give us the chance to help you organise the perfect Northern holiday.
