A clean hotel with friendly staff. But it also happens to be in a prime location in the Old Town of Riga, and, did I mention, VERY inexpensive, relatively speaking? So, for those who want a more luxurious hotel, there are plenty within a block or two - costing four or five times as much. Me, I'd rather travel for...

Location is excellent. In the centre of the city. Close to everything. Rooms were very bright, good size and comfortable. Bed was also very comfortable. Breakfast buffet has a good selection. Only thing buffet was lined up in the hall and it was crowded. Since it is in downtown there was street noise till in the morning. There was issue...

You can't find a place better located that this hotel in the Old Town in Riga. Located at the heart of the town, but it has also some cons: for example it is very noisy, especially the rooms with the windows exposed to the main street. The staff could also be more friendly. The room was ok, clean and basic...

We stayed for two nights. The location is excellent. The room was very basic, but OK for a 3 star. Everything worked and was clean. The free WiFi worked well at times when there weren't many people in the hotel. Late afternoon and evenings it was almost non existent. The breakfast was very basic but OK. Not anything to get...

This hotel is lacking in cleanliness and just overall comfort. Although, it seems quiet from the street it is loud in the rooms. Maybe a bar around the corner. Loud meaning constant music as if you are on the dance floor until 3am. The sheets on the bed were dirty with sand that you could feel all over one side...

Apart from the exquisite location there are no more assets to this hotel. Terrible beds, matrasses were dead-hard our shoulders hurt. Lots of noice (We normally hardly complain about this but now it really disturbed us, crazy birds kept making noise all night long). The bathroom had a bad smell... Drain-issue And on top of that there was a very...

This hotel has a lot of great reviews and so I was excited to stay here. Unfortunately it is located adjacent to an open air bar and live music venue. On weekends, get ready for a very loud stay. Music, drunk UK stag partiers and to the ambiance of the Kolonia. Also, the rooms get very warm in summer and...

We've spent the weekend in this hotel and had a good experience with staff. They were very helpful with advising about the city, shops, attractions etc. Even sending the postcards wouldn't be successful without their assistance. Really good location, nice rooms and some new nice memories from World. :-)

I was part of a group of 8 people at the hotel, staff were fantastic and nothing was to much trouble. Location is slap bang in town centre and handy for everything it was a little noisy early hours but it wasn't really a problem. I would happily go back again as was so impressed by their staff

I stayed at Kolona Hotel Riga from the 17-19th May with my boyfriend and it was a lovely experience! The hotel is quite old fashioned and could do with a ‘spruce’ up, but other than that, it was lovely. And plus, the room was huge! And the two twin beds were surprisingly comfy and warm at night. The bathroom was...
