I was only going to stay in Riga for a couple days, but thanks to Central Hostel I ended up getting stuck there for two months. It was like being stuck in a den of succubi, where weeks pass in what feels like a matter of days. The only difference between Central Hostel and an actual den of succubi is...

Everything is great about the hostel except for its name! It is not central! It is a 15 mins walk to center though! Staff are really friendly and nice and place is amazing! Unfortunately few people visit the hostel so no great vibes if you are a party person!

The staff are very helpful and they will help you in all that you need like printing bus tickets, documents etc. The room is spacious and the bed is clean. Only item missing is the place for putting your toiletries and a personal lamp. However this is not a major issue. Overall, it is a great place to stay and...

Stayed for 2 nights in a double room with shared bathroom. The room was fairly small but it was ok for us as we just wanted somewhere to sleep. Our room was on the road side so when we had the window open we thought it would be an issue with noise but it wasn't at all during our stay....

The location for travellers is great. Very close to main train and bus station. I would say like 3 minutes walk tops. Rooms are spacious, receptionist nice, tea and coffee are free. I found out nothing bad, all was ok. Please know that windows are to the street but it is ok. Maybe I would be happy for more than...

This place is definitely value for money. We stayed here for four nights and found it a very comfortable stay. The rooms were nice and the hostel had a good vibe as all the staff and people were friendly. The wifi worked well in the hotel and it was quiet at night. There were also sufficient bathrooms on each floor....

This is a real hostel, nothing fancy, but very affordable, close to the city center and easy to find if you are coming from airport, train or bus station. There is kitchen, free wifi, common area, everything you would find in average hostels.

Hostel was in a good location close to city center. Decoration was lovely, building was an old wood house. Staff was friendly and helpful and hostel was clean. Only downside were a bit sweaty bedsheets (not cotton). Definately comming back again!
