We stopped here in preparation for a visit to the Skocjan caves the next day. We called the telephone number on the door and Tamara answered and told us where the keys were. We enjoyed the house by ourselves (nice during a long trip) and worked on the wifi and slept very well. Tamara had arrived in the morning and... More

We were 2 families of 4, meeting up for holiday. We wanted a casual place to stay for the night, one that provided food. We wanted to walk to the caves the next day. This place was perfect. Very relaxed, rooms were clean and had all the needed ammenities. The host was very gracious, accomodating, and helpful. We were able... More

During our stay I got the idea (and the owner also suggested) that this place began as an easy going guest house, just for friends and acquaintances to stay and have a nice time. After receiving so many positive reviews and becoming more and more popular, it is spiralling out of control. Their personal style is a nice one, but... More

We are a family of four and stayed for 2 nights in 1 room while visiting the area. We had a great stay and found our host, Ervin, to be helpful and accommodating. The room with was comfortable including a double bed for us and a pull-out sofa for the kids. This is a great location for this part of... More

Best combination of modest and most sophisticated time spend ever. Where history and modern needs shake hands. Where your body and mind rest. In every beat of your heart. If you are looking for peace, good food and nice company, Tamara and Ervin will give you all and more. You will be positive surprised in every possible aspect.

Recently spent a night here as we wanted to visit the caves near by. Entrance to the caves is less than 200m which made the access to cave tours super easy. Ervin and his wife very friendly and welcoming. Nice garden at the back to chill. Nice food served with local ingridients and wine. Prices are reasonable. Good chat with... More

We were staying nearby but for two weeks we visited almost daily for amazing food, good wine and coffee, and great company. Genuine hospitality, in the oldest and very best traditions: Ervin and Tamara welcome you in the way they welcome friends. But all of this sits on deeply experienced professionalism; what they make look so easy is really very... More

I think half the fun was finding this place in the dark at night without a GPS/smart phone after a whole day of touring the Julian Alps. We would have never found the place, even though it’s a tiny village with only a main road and a few side streets. The street address numbers are assigned not based on logical... More

I have to say that the athmosphere is fantastic and like the staff is really corteous. The stay was like in a fairy tale. Near the B&B are the Skocian Caves and everybuddy can have a walk in this pretty nature.

We just returned from a road trip that took us through Slovenia. This stay was very memorable due to the host. The location itself can't be beat: a few minutes' walk down the trail and you're at the cave information center. The bed was comfortable--I had my first excellent, full night's night sleep there, and we were maybe 7 nights... More
