3rd time at this hotel. Really nice place to stay. All staff very friendly nothing too much trouble. Lounge area absolutely beautiful, so nice to relax in. Roof terrace has lovely comfortable furniture for enjoying the sunshine. It is in a good location, a few minutes walk from centre of Tavira. Needless to say we will be visiting again next...

We stayed for 5 nights in the Hibisco room. Absolutely lovely and perfect. Light and bright room with beautiful decor. Fantastic shower. Aircon able to be used all night because it was so quiet and kept the room at a constant temperature. Common areas amazing. The lounge is palatial. The roof terrace is a great place to relax both during...

We stayed here for a week. We were in one of the "small" rooms, but it was perfectly adequate with good quiet aircon, a very comfortable bed and a bathroom that was almost as big as the room, with twin basins and twin showers. With a beautiful lounge and an excellent, large, well furnished roof terrace available, the size of...

My wife and I stayed 2 enjoyable nights in this excellent small hotel in the centre of Tavira. A really warm reception from Joseph on arrival, and then we were shown to our fine "superior" room - with comfortable sofa, Krupps coffee maker and separate bathroom. This hotel has been cleverly designed to make maximum use of the site of...

We had a long weekend at Tavira House in August2015. The staff were excellent, friendly and very accommodating. The suite was just wonderful, and we had a free wine tasting and very informative masterclass in Portuguese wine one evening. The location is superb, just at the old castle walls and seconds from the old town which is absolutely lovely. The hotel...

We spent 3 nights in this nice and confortable place. The owners were kind and helpful, facilities and breakfast were super, and rooms were not very big but clean and pleasant. Location was perfect: quiet street very close to the city centre. Lovely experience

The room and hotel were very nice but staff and breakfast were less good than average. Also there wes constriction work in the hotel during the day, which kind of forced us to look for peace elsewhere. 30% less expensive would be OK value for money

We stayed here in May 2015 - and so glad we did!! From the moment we walked through the door, the service was impeccable! Tavira House Hotel has successfully translated an older building into a modern, luxurious boutique hotel located within easy access to shopping as well as restaurants and bars. The decor is beautiful and inviting and the attention...

We stayed at tavira house with alot of anticipation as it has good reviews and the photos look great. Don't get me wrong, the staff are very friendly and the whole environment is just very relaxed however they just missed all those small touches that you would expect of a boutique hotel. There are still many positives in that the...
