We stayed at Acapella for our two final nights in new Zealand, and what a treat. Linda, the Inkeeper, was warm and gracious, but also left you to yourself if you preferred. The home is gorgeous - built on three levels, and at each level, you can go outside to a deck with fabulous views of Akaroa Harbour. The location...

We had a wonderful time with Linda and Ray in their architecturally beautiful home. We could not have been made more welcome and we felt completely relaxed despite the tremors we had previously experienced in Christ Church. It was the last day of our 2 week holiday in Australia and New Zealand and we had a fabulous time and enjoyed...

Akaroa is delightful, and Acapella Lodge must be one of the best places in this little village. Our hosts, Linda and Ray, were so welcoming. We only regret the weather was not suited to saling on Ray's classic yacht.. We will definitely be back. The only criticism we had was that we had to share the bathroom which was upstairs...
