This is a great B&B and definitely the place to stay in Akaroa. The property appears to be a former ‘stately home’ and our only regret is that we didn’t stay there long enough to enjoy the place. The hosts are marvellous and extremely hospitable. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the pre-dinner drinks with other guests and the multi-course...

Beautiful B&B, wonderful location, amazing Hosts. Experienced a wonderful stay at Beaufort House. The location was perfect in a residential area, easy walking distance from restaurants, shops, and harbor activities. The house itself was elegant and welcoming at the same time. The guest rooms were pretty and no detail was overlooked. Our room had a balcony overlooking a lovely garden....

A fantastic beautiful bed-and-breakfast! The owners are extremely welcoming and host an evening cocktail hour with the wonderful wine and delicious appetizers every evening. It was a delightful way to meet other guests and chat with the owner. There are beautiful and interesting decorations everywhere. Set back from the mainroad which is an advantage but only a few minutes walk to restaurants & shops. The house is very comfortable with a great range of places to sit & read or watch the fire in the living room. Nothing is too much trouble & the breakfast is fantastic. Very worthwhile place to stay.

Wonderfully developed B and B run by extremely hospitable couple. Elegant table set for fine breakfast. Setting on hillside surrounded by small vineyard and handsome gardens make for a remarkable setting.

Lovely to meet you Moyra, I feel quite spoilt by your praising comments, Beaufort House has been a joy to furnish particularly when I have a love of antiques. They all seem to fit in here.
