My wife and I spent three wonderful nights at Beaufort House, seeing in the New Year. The house and garden were exquisite. The central location meant that we could walk everywhere, without once needing to use our car. But the best part was the hospitality. Sitting outside in the garden in the evenings, enjoying wine and canapés with our hosts...

3 days in Akaroa - so much to see and do! - and the successful family geneology followup. I know you went back with more than you started, our local historian a wealth of information and photos ....we were rather the league of nations on your 3 day visit. Shaun, I passed your appreciation onto Lisa, who kindly stepped in...

The Beaufort house is amazing. Sharon and Noel are simply fantastic hosts and the little extras that come with a B&B make it all worth it. Wine and snacks in the evening and then a full breakfast in the morning!! We got to know the others staying there during the meal which was great because everyone had more NZ experience...

Grounds are beautiful and the hosts very friendly. We stayed in the Fyffe room which is lovely and sunny in the afternoon with a good size bathroom. Really enjoyed the canapés and breakfast. The Beaufort House pinot noir is a winner, I recommend trying this if you are offered it at canapé time! There is off street parking and free...

We stayed at the Beaufort House in December, 2016 . It was perfect and the owners Sharon and Noel were great hosts. Set in a quiet location the gardens and house are beautiful and the property is within walking distance of the lake. The room and bed were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved the...

Well thank you! ..Tea always tastes so much better in china cups and if you have nice china then it should be used and not just put away in a cupboard, lovely to share and be appreciated! Best wishes Sharon

Outstanding hospitality, great comfort and superb breakfast justify the price. The setting of the beautiful house in a lovely garden close to the town centre is also a strength. For those who can afford it this is a great treat and, overall, very good value.

We spent a fabulous two days at a gorgeous mansion called The Beaufort House. The breakfast was divine with everything you could possibly want and the canapés and refreshments to start off the evening were spectacular. If ever you find yourself in the beautiful village of Akaroa we highly recommend this is the place to stay at. The bedrooms and...

A most wonderful B&B! Beautiful antiques, lovely gardens, fresh breakfasts. All the details have been taken care of. Every little consideration has been carefully thought out. And if by some remote chance you do need something, Sharon and Noel will do their best to accommodate. (Ice...😀) We were only here for two nights but would have loved to stay much...

We spent only one night in Akaroa, and this was a lovely place. So Victorian in every sense: delightful innkeepers, lovely & sometimes kitschy furnishings, comfy/warm bedrooms, delicious breakfast, beautiful gardens. Highly recommend.
