We stayed in Picton for one night as we were going to Queen Charlotte Track the next day. When we checked in, the staff at the reception gave us lots of information we needed along the track. Also we could buy the ferry tickets and QCTLC in the hostel.

In this hostel people feel good and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The rooms are big, the kitchen as well and the lounge has a nice book collection. Additionally there is plenty of corners and spots to hide in the garden and enjoy peace and quiet if you want to be on your own for a while. The staff...

Just slept 1 night there.. Not only was the floor dirty but also the "pillowcase". I def. recommend bringing your sleepbag or a cover. Furthermore does the Wi-Fi not work properly. It's very annoying, wouldn't choose the accommodation again.

The staff member on reception when we arrived was cold and unfriendly. The internet connection is slow and unreliable to non-existent. We were given the smallest room in 'the cottage'. It was noisy, as it's next to the kitchen. The bed was an uncomfortable, springy old thing. The room smelled musty. The TV didn't work. There were also a couple...

Short overnight stay before the ferry. Beds were SO cozy and comfortable and the wifi worked well. Kitchen was good- spacious, clean, and not crowded. The guests were a bit older than most people you find for hostels which was perfect for us, as everyone was respectfully quiet, but still friendly.

We stayed for a night in the family room before catching the ferry. The room and linen were dirty and very overpriced for what you get. I would not recommend staying here, will go back to staying at the Jugglers Rest in the future.

The reception was fruendly. The house is really cozy. I like that they have guitars in the living room ready for use. I got to hire a mountainbike for free which is nice. Not the best mtb but still, it gets you around.

We stayed at the Villa for one night before leaving for Queen Charlotte track. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as soon as we walked in and gave us amazing advice about the area as well as a free place to store some stuff while we were hiking. The hostel has a very funky feel to it and everything...

This hostel is just one of the best places I have ever been to. It's super cosy and the Villa crew is just so awesome and fun! The hostel has a lot of places to chill and relax, like a really nice hammock and a hot tub. Also the apple crumble is really delicious! So if you can afford to...

It was awesome stay at the villa. Homey ,vibrant , nice staff, hot pool and free apple crumble and breakfast ( Probably free apple crumble and breakfast served only in winter season) Location is good, everything is walk distance as well. Scenery in Picton was amazing!!!! I will definitely stay there again sometime :)
