To get to the hotel we took the water taxi from Picton and were met by the staff for a short journey by road to the hotel. Overall the staff were friendly, particularly the manager.

Was much better than I expected, given the reviews. Like most places on Queen Charlotte track, I found it expensive for what it was. But was pretty, comfortable, and the fish & chips in the bar were reasonable given the remoteness. It was too cold...More
A welcome place to have lunch that is served over a long period during the day. I was fine that we weren't staying in house for us to be served. I had great fish and chips with craft beer. Excellent!

Our last stop on the Queen Charlotte track. The room was comfortable and warm, with good views. The food and service in the restaurant was wonderful and we found it to be the best value for money on the trail.
