Not pretentious nor over the top. Simply a place to relax and be comfortable. Always clean and tidy. Very close to a wonderful little beach with a take away and a small store for all your everyday needs. The owners are always friendly and willing to help in any way. Lovely breakfast is included and also at tea time be...

Lovely B&B close to Little Oneroa beach on Waiheke Island. The lodge is close to the town (approx. 10min walk) and a lovely place to stay. The owner, Dyan is a treat and immediately made us feel very welcome. She's also a wonderful baker!

After visiting a couple of vineyards a friend and I decided we wanted to stop on Waiheke overnight to make the most of the experience. The host was very accommodating and included afternoon tea and breakfast for a bargain price of $99 in total (spring on the day deal). A good afternoon on the wineries meant we missed afternoon tea,...

It was such a delight to stay in this cosy lodge, the owner Dyan is one of the most hospital person I have ever met. She not only gave us choices of rooms then upgraded us to this lovely huge apartment. Her sweet treats are delightful and you can see all the hard work she puts into her work. Very...

I was immediately taken with the environment as soon as I arrived - a cosy wooden house hidden in the trees with decks & views. Dyan was a wonderful hostess & gave me lovely tea & cake when I arrived. The following morning I had breakfast in bed - cosy, fresh muffins, tasty .....didn't want to leave!

Again, we just made immediate decision to go to Waiheke Island. Took our rented car on the ferry and googled away the accommodation there but could not concentrate as the view is soooo scenic. When arrived, just drove around and found Punga Lodge. There were 2 types of accommodation avaikavle. Diane so lovely. We chose the cottage which opposite rainforest....

We had an amazing time. Dyan and Rob were lovely, very welcoming! Dyan's baking was incredible! They were both very friendly and helpful :) Definitely Recommend Punga Lodge! Loved the outdoor feeling, with the rainforest right at your door and the pet friendly environment!

a really lovely place to stay with Dylan and Rob being superb hosts. The facilities were excellent, a little oasis in the greenery. The afternoon teas were brilliant. We really enjoyed our three nights and indeed Waiheke. I left my iPad behind and Dyan went out her way to reunite me with it at the Half Moon Bay terminal by...

First trip to Waiheke and did not know what to expect as room was suggested via wedding invitation. Arrived late on Friday night via ferry - transfer from ferry included - very welcome at after 10pm (don't rely on Auckland airport bus - another story!) Warm welcome from both Dyan and Rob who have been doing this for decades and...

Dyan's home baking for the complimentary afternoon teas was enough in itself to warrant a TripAdvisor post. We had a terrific time on the island and were made most welcome at Punga, a perfect balance of hospitality and privacy. If and when we make it back to Waiheke, Punga will be our first choice for accommodation.
