My fiancé and I booked to stay at The Boatshed for a romantic weekend away. From the moment we arrived we were in relaxed bliss. The owners and staff were charming and service faultless, it was seriously the best I'd experienced in my life. Every small detail had been thought of, from the delicious treats in the suites to the...

From the moment we walked up the drive through the front gate I was blown away by the Boatshed. Of course I did expect to be due to the price but a few minutes into the experience I knew it was worth it. From the gorgeous kitchen garden, to the sun loungers with ocean views, to the beach-chic-charm-island life decor...

Pretty much everything is right about this place. Warm, informal welcome, beautifully decorated and themed, spacious communal area, lovely mix between private and communal and artful cooking. All in all a great place to escape to and to explore the lovely island of Waiheke from.

We have given this hotel full marks because we could find no fault with it. We had one of the boat shed suites and stayed here for three nights. The welcome was warm and genuine. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and in keeping with the...

For a superb luxury holiday provided by wonderful host Jonathan Scott, his friendly staff, superior service, plus excellent cuisine by Chef Adam, The Boatshed Boutique Hotel on Waiheke Island is my top recommendation.. The design of the building, interior decoration and furnishings completely compliment the stunning island views. A picturesque & unique cottage garden supplies the immaculate kitchen with tasty...

Beautiful little boutique hill hidden up in the hills. No children aloud here so it's perfect for a weekend escape with some r&r Slightly more on the expensive side for what it is but people are prepared to pay it. Breakfast is included in the rate.

We have returned today from celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at the Boatshed and I couldn't imagine a more perfect stay. Jonathon and the staff were warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make it special, The rooms were very well appointed (free Wifi / Nespresso coffee machine / complementary port/fruit and muesli biscuits etc) with comfortable...

The people, the rooms the food and the setting are just a class of their own. There is little more needed except to say staying here will refresh your mind, body and soul and leave you wanting to return.

This hotel has to be in a class of its own. It is small, relaxed, you are treated superbly and the food is sensational. This is probably the best place we have ever stayed and there are no comments we can offer that could have improved our stay.

We were looking for a place to get away for the weekend and my husband found this place - and wow was I impressed! We are not people who like fancy, over the top, snobby places. We like comfort and quality and the Boat Shed really delivers. From the moment you walk in it feels like you're a guest in...
