A little off the beaten path, but still less than 20 minutes to the Matiatia ferry. The house is located right next to a waterfront reserve, which is also the start of a beautiful walk out to Te Whau. No details is overlooked like quality linen, home made cookies and luxury teas. Nice little balcony with leafy outlook. Private area...

John and Kathy have a great b&b at their home. Close to the water for a nice walk and about 10 mins drive to the main town. Everything is a short and very scenic drive away. The room and all the facilities are excellent. Their hospitality and fantastic breakfasts make it extra special. Thank you John and Kathy (and Lucy...

We had a perfect winter weekend on Waiheke Island. Kathy & John's b&b is more like a self-contained apartment. It's great value with room to sleep four. Kathy has excellent sense of style, she has made the apartment look beautiful as well as being super comfy. We loved the little touches like all the teas and coffee you could possibly...

My Fiance and I recently spent a night at this beautiful homely Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable but what made the stay extra special was the effort the hosts Kathy and John went to to make our stay a memorable one. Nothing was too much trouble and their hospitality left us feeling like we were...

We were so impressed with our stay at Illuka that we booked another visit a month later. Kathy and John are lovely hosts, and they made our three sons feel very welcome indeed. We've had two lovely home cooked meals which were plentiful and delicious. Kathy uses only the best and freshest ingredients. Our cooked breakfasts were fantastic along with...

John and Kathy are the most welcoming and wonderful hosts. Iluka B&B was the most perfect place for my husband and I to stay as it is located in a quit part of the island, close to a lovely beach, and just a short drive to some real good restaurants. The place is immaculately clean, with the most comfortable bed,...

A big thank you to Kathy and John for making our two day stay so memorable. You really did make us feel very welcome and the breakfasts were great. It was loverly to be on a quiet part of the island and having the rental car made it so easy to get around. 😊

I needed go somewhere quiet and close to nature for a couple of days after a busy Christmas period with family in Auckland and to "refresh" the mind before going back to a hectic life in Asia .. staying at Iluka B&B was perfect for that! I was able to walk along the cliffs close to their home and soak...

Iluka B&B was a terrific ending to our 3 week New Zealand vacation. The hosts, Kathy and John, were very friendly. They gave us advice on places to see on Waiheke Island. The B&B was in a great location with a beautiful view to Rocky Bay. The breakfast was wonderful. I highly recommend staying at Iluka B&B.

Our stay with John and Kathy (and their adorable, darling little dog) was absolutely wonderful! I say our stay with ‘John and Kathy’, instead of Iluka Bed and Breakfast, because that is how it felt: like we were staying with old friends. My husband’s birthday fell on our stay. That morning John and Kathy arranged for us to use their...
