We spent 3 nights in this Casa. Our room was very dark (afraid to open the shutters since no window or screen to prevent bugs from coming in). Lots of holes in shutters so mosquitoes could definitely be a problem in season. Water pressure was minimal....actually could not take a shower one night as there was zero hot water flowing...

We loved staying at Casa Ayala. We were there for 3 nights, and they were incredibly accommodating and friendly. It was my boyfriend's birthday on one of the days we were staying with them, and they remembered - sang him happy birthday at breakfast, booked us a special reservation at their favorite restaurant, where they surprised him again with cake...

We had a very nice stay at Casa Ayala. It is located a few blocks away from the main square, but there are several bars and restaurants on the street itself. We had the front room facing the street but I didn't have any issues with street noise. The room is huge and can sleep 4. The welcome drink was...

Highly recommend staying here, this is the best Casa we stayed at Cuba, the breakfast was to die for and Rogelio and his wife were adorable. He spoke good english which was helpful which our broken Spanish.

We absolutely loved it here. To start with, Rogelio and Rousa were the perfect hosts - so friendly and they couldn't do enough for us. We ate here on our first night (the only casa we ate in during our visit) and we weren't disappointed - a lovely three course meal, including soup, lobster and 'seafood rice'. We drank Cancanchira...

Me and my girlfriend enjoyed everything about our stay in Trinidad, thanks to our peaceful 'home base' at Casa Ayala. Ayala and his wife are very friendly and became our Cuban parents for the week :-) Helpful from arrival right through to helping to phone our next place in Havana the day we had to leave. The large 250 year...

LOVED this place! The casa owners are a wonderful couple. The rooms are spacious & have private bathrooms. The best part is the gorgeous, interior courtyard which is right off your room. <3 We had our best breakfast in all of Cuba here. Highly recommend staying with this wonderfully friendly couple right by the main plaza of Trinidad!

Authentic colonial house in one of the main streets of Trinidad. Close to the most important attractions and restaurants. Amazing terrace on the top of the house, without view but perfect for resting with a cigar and a glass of rum after dinner. Good rooms with private bathrooms and air conditioning: a little noisy the one on the street side...
