My daughter, granddaughter and I spent three super days in Trinidad at Casa Munoz. I only wish it could have been longer. Our hosts went out of their way to welcome us. As independent, person-to-person travelers from the USA, I really appreciated Julio's advise, insights & recommendations. Our room was spacious, spotless, with a our own bath and air conditioning....

We had the bi-level suite and it was perfect. Very large rooms and good facilities. The house itself is gorgeous on the inside, and the patio area is great for breakfast. Only downside was Julio wasn't there because he was traveling, but his daughter was around to help us out.

This review is long overdue! We thought Casa Munoz was wonderful! Julio and Rosa are incredibly nice, generous, and helpful and the location is great. We stayed in the suite, which had two levels, including a king size bed—relatively rare in casas—and good AC. Breakfast on the patio was delicious. Julio is also an amazing photographer and will do photo...

This place is in a great location. The owner Julio was very friendly. He had a map printed out with all the locations to visit. He gave an overview of the house. The front door was open during the day, and he gave an extra key to the side door for us to go in and out as we pleased....

This is a lovely ornate casa . We got into Trinidad after dark with no reservation and pounded the streets looking for this casa after being recommended it by a friend. We found it and were told we could stay 1 night only due to other bookings. We settled for the one night at least given the praise the casa...

This was such a well located Casa. The owners were so hospitable and again couldn't do enough to help us in Trinidad. The bedroom was very big with its own en-suite. The second bedroom had a king size with another bathroom all in the same compartment of the house. They were regularly cleaned. The breakfast was ample and tastes lovely....

When myself and two friends decided on visiting Trinidad, Cuba and checked out accommodation options via Lonely Planet this casa appeared to be a clear front runner. Beautiful building, good rooms, good breakfast and warm and knowledgable hosts were all highlighted as reasons for this being judged to be the number one place to stay. Our experience didn't really live...

I have to agree with a previous review. The property is gorgeous but we didn't receive a very warm welcome and we had to explain that we had a room reserved after being asked into the house and being asked what we wanted by Rosa (minus a smile). Julio only really made an effort to speak on our last day....

This is a beautiful property in an excellent location in Trinidad! Julio & Rosa were amazing hosts and made us feel right at home. It also has secure parking for those driving a rental car. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it!
