Even though we didnt stay with Bernardo and Marga since their casa was fully booked, they were very helpful to us in both helping us find an alternative stay, Casa El Trebol just opposite El Tulipan, and in some of our other inquiries. Besides, we had lovely talks and a few cozy moments together. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay with Marga and Bernardo in Trinidad. Be sure to ask them about their lives and how they met - it's an amazing love story fit for the movies! We ran into a pickle by not planning well with bringing enough USD, and they really saved our butts. The only way to...

Very friendly, helpful, english and dutch speaking hosts. Excellent breakfast (no dinner though). Not very central, but not too far from the main square either. The apartment is nice and clean, has an own kitchen and terrace. Definitely recommend!

My fiance and I booked our stay at Casa El Tulipan for 3 nights this December 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would highly recommend Casa El Tulipan for anyone and if we're back to Trinidad in the future, we will definitely be back. - It was in a more local part of town, away from the tourist area (Trinidad...

El Tulipan is a very nice, central-located casa in Trinidad. Very cosy and you have your own terrace with hammock where you can enjoy the tasty breakfast or a cerveza! The hospitality of Marga and Bernardo was amazing. They can give you a lot of information about Trinidad and Cuba (in English, Dutch, Cuban), arrange you bicycles, reservations etc, and...

This is absolutely one of the best casa's of Cuba! The owners are very friendly and make you feel very welcome, they even offered a pick-up service by bicitaxi upon our arrival in Trinidad. They have one little appartment above their own house, which includes a nice private roof terrace, a little kitchen, a sitting area and a seperate sleeping...

We stayed for two nights with the lovely Mara and Bernardo at Casa El Tulipan and only wish that we could have stayed longer! The Casa is the perfect place to stay in Trinidad with everything the city has to offer on your doorstep, Mara and Bernado are full of knowledge of the area and can easily arrange any trips...

We are so amazed by this fantastic place! The location couldn't be better, and the price is well worth the money! You are just a step away from all what Trinidad has to offer, everything in walking distanse, and off course the great and lovely owners - Mara & Bernardo. They are so pleasurable and easy to talk with, no...

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay at Casa El Tulipan. We were lucky enough to be able to visit Cuba for 6 weeks and we stayed only in casas, so we really got a good idea of what that's like. All of them are great because they are all so different but CASA El TULIPAN IS THE BEST....

All the casas paticulares we stayed in in Cuba were clean and pleasant but this tulip-themed casa was by far the nicest. The rooms form a small apartment above the main house so there is a nice double bedroom and a sofabed + kitchen area (the only time in Cuba we had access to a kitchen). There are plenty of...
