We stayed in the little loft area bedroom which included a pretty sitting area. It was clean, cozy and fairly quiet. It also had a guest refrigerator. The hostess Caroline was helpful and fun t talk to. Mike was a great help especially with a minor suticase emergency. Brekfast coudl be a little mroe original, but they did offer fresh...

Excellent location. Worn, tired building, in need of major renovations and upgrades. Innkeeper claims Historic status prevents Fire Escapes and/or emergency lighting and marked fire exits in this 4 story walk up with one narrow center hall staircase. Hostess very pleasant, but it all stops there. Breakfast is same every day, and not creative, same tired omelet or dry cereal,...

About 1.3 blocks S. of DuPont Circle**, the Inn is easy to miss, but worthwhile finding. I loved the "Country Room" with shared bath on the 4th floor (no elevator). It was large, homey, decorated with both period furniture and items from your local thrift shop. Facing the back court, the room was very quiet, even though there were 2...

We travelled to Dupont Circle by train and found this B and B very easily following Carolyn's instructions. Our room on the 4th floor was very comfortable with airconditioning, windows which open, an iron and ironing board, large wardrobe and space for luggage. The share bathroom was large and well appointed. Carolyn is very attentive and keen for her guests...

We were looking for a place to stay for my daughter's graduation from George Washington University on the same weekend that Georgetown was graduating and were about to give up hope of finding something affordable and nearby when my aunt suggested The Inn at Dupont Circle, where she had stayed once herself. We were able to book three rooms for...

I booked this place for my honeymoon based on tripadvisor's reviews and it did not disappoint! Hopefully you will have as wonderful a time here as we did! We stayed at the North inn on T street in room 4. Lovely room, nicely decorated, comfortable bed, large bathroom, fast wifi. Great lobby area, comfortable seating for reading and for an...

We stayed several nights in the fourth floor walk-up with shared bath ( the only room available at that time.) The bed was quite comfortable and the other furniture just serviceable. Breakfast was made to order by a very friendly and anxious to please attendant. Not luxurious, but just right and fairly priced.

Perhaps I've been spoiled by wonderful B&Bs around Asheville but I found this B&B to be sub-par in almost every respect. The Room: The bed had a huge lump in it, the sheets were rough, the pillows lumpy (antiques themselves), the bathroom floor was a web of cracked tiles and sagged unexepected near the toilet. Add a noisy, coughing air...

We made our reservations for the inauguration in July not knowing anything about this place and we lucked out. This place was perfect for us. Carolyn (the host) was so accommodating to al the guest and all their special needs. She was like our mother -- taking care us in a strange city. We couldn't have been happier!

I stayed at the North property in a room that shared a bathroom. The reason for my trip was business. The place is quiet, spotless and very easy to find. There is food out all the time which makes finding something to eat when you are stuck doing email until the middle of the night, very easy. Neda and Arthur,...
