Check-in was efficient and the rooms cleaned and equipped with standard accoutrements (TV, free wireless, desk, and coffee makers).
My wife and I spent 4 nights in this hotel when visiting Washington. Because we wanted to see the main tourist attractions (the Capitol, the White House, Lincoln memorial etc) the location of the hotel was perfect...
The rooms are really small - but have everything a business traveler needs (including an efficient workspace and powerful, free internet service).
I was so pleased with my stay here. Jessica at the front desk was the highlight of my trip. She's attentive. She's thorough. She's QUICK. And you can tell she cares. Great staff here!! The hotel is in a great...
Decent rooms, great complimentary breakfast (get there early), and wonderful service.
I found the Hyatt Place to be a perfect fit for my visit. The hotel was clean, I was given a great room on a high floor, and appreciated the complementary breakfast each morning. I also liked the fact that the hotel...
There are no outside photographs of the hotel in their ad. There's a reason for that. Here are my photographs that accurately depict the B&B from the inside and out. http://tinyurl.com/yfoxpez To view the photographs at higher resolution, click on 'All sizes' above each photograph and click on 'Large' or 'Original' to view the gory details. Here are the facts, and let my photographs prove it to you. The place is a dump. The nice big bed is the one and only large room upstairs. The room with a private bathroom is not a private bathroom -- it's in the hallway. Our 'bedroom' was a closet. The bed could barely fit. My wife had to crawl over me to get out of bed. The room was so tiny that even my largest wide angle lens could only photograph a small portion of the room. Some the adjacent houses are abandoned or are out and out seedy. However, the neighbors were extremely nice to us. I felt quite safe. The B&B is on an extremely major thoroughfare. Even in the night, it's not quiet since emergency vehicles use their sirens all night long. At rush hour, you can't hear yourself think. The computer is ancient. It's nearly impossible to load a web page. I gave up in frustration. My oldest computer is 10x faster than theirs. Their CRT TV was unwatchable. The resolution was so bad it hurt my eyes. The doorknobs were missing. The ceiling was cracked from previous leaking. Anyone can get the PIN code to the hotel. We found some people crashing in the common area and they were loud. Since no staff are on site, it took hours for someone to get to the hotel and resolve the issue. The manager, however, was extremely nice, sympathetic and accommodating. The views from every window are a travesty. What truly annoyed me was that my relative was able to rent an absolutely gorgeous 1/2 house (working fireplaces, multiple bathrooms, full kitchen) just walking distance away for only a few dollars a night more than what we had paid.…
