This is a great property for tourists and business alike. Great location at L'Enfant Plaza Metro, Hop on HopOff Bus, Spy Museum and the Wharf. Staff are great! Check in has Donna and Alex who are superb! Abdul for Bell Check is great and at the bar/restaurant, Michael is KIMG, and Jose are the best!!!! Nice rooms and amenities; great gym, vacant but lovely pool and wonderful bar/restaurant all on top of busy metro station...And, beside the Spy Museum!!
I’ll start with that this Hilton is perfectly located - ten min walk to every major museum, and landmark, which is why we chose it. We also spent lots of time at the Wharf which is a short walk as well. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendliest most wonderful staff. The rooms are brand new and spacious - the bathrooms are all upgraded. No carpet! We needed a pack and play crib in our room for our baby and it was waiting and ready after a long day of travel. The Starbucks in the lobby also has the best ladies staffing it - we were sad to say goodbye to them! Anything we needed (extra towels, bottles of water, extra blankets) was delivered within minutes to our room. Even the valet was so kind and warm. This is a well run, excellent choice for a hotel in DC!
Overall staying was exceptional. I really enjoy the pool. All the staff was very kind and polite, but I wanted to say THANK YOU especially to Alex from front desk, he was extremely kind and went above and beyond to help me with some issues that I was facing. He really helped me a lot and it was nice to have him around. Definitely will come back again.
No room dining service, uncomfortable bed, no river views, no microwave, wrong billing, and outer door to corner suite was locked and Engineering had to unlock the outter door. I did not have a key to otter door. Terrible experience.
Stayed here for two weeks while in town on business. The first week was great. No problems. The second week had some issues with house cleaning and getting issues remedied. When I finally did, they comped me a day of parking. A small gesture for the pain and trouble, but at least something. Very convenient to the mall and the wharf area with great restaurants.
We picked this hotel the for location and beautiful rooms but we are going to be back because of the Front desk staff, especially Alex! Simple acts of kindness makes all the difference. We are not very tech savvy and we needed to make a reservation in another Hilton property that was on our way back home. Usually our travel agent makes all the arrangements for us but since it was late Alex stepped in. He did not only just found us a hotel, he looked genuinely happy to assist us, asking us follow up questions, making sure we were satisfied with the room choice. In our eyes this was above and beyond service. I believe Hilton hit a jackpot with him. Thank you for everything.
Reception team great specifically Alex and also the Front Office Manager (sorry forgot his name!) pool really nice I used it nearly every day. Starbucks on site handy and great link to metro. Enjoyed my stay!
I've stayed at approximately 10 different hotels in downtown DC. This is by far the nicest and has the friendliest staff. Especially noteworthy are Abdul (valet station) and Fernando (maintenance). Both went out of their way to ensure my wife and I were well taken care of. Every time they saw either of us in the hotel, they asked if there was anything we needed. I will be back to this hotel... I can't say that about any of the other downtown hotels.
Wow over and above service Alex at front desk was fantastic. Always sending a text to make sure everything was taken care of. He helped me more than once and I will tell everyone I know going to DC to stay at his Hilton.
Hotel is clean, room is really nice, food is barely edible.many restaurants on the wharf 5 min walk away but lack of breakfast choices. There is a buffet breakfast which is ok but not great. Wish I’d chosen a different location-there for a funeral at Arlington so the location was good for that.
