We had two rooms for our family stay. The Terrace Room does not have an attached bathroom, instead the bath is down the stairs (no big deal - robes and slippers provided), and the innkeeper made sure that we were well aware of this little quirk well in advance. The other room had an in-room bath and was perfect for...

Really beautiful property, the rooms are extra large and well-equipped. Made-to-order breakfast. Location is near train station and convention center. The beds are extra comfortable and super-sized. An unbelievable quality of sheets. I would definitely stay here again, our daughter stayed in the room attached to the Bombay suite, we were all very comfortable. There were nice restaurants nearby.

Stayed for one night only, but I highly recommend this place. Charming and huge rooms with comfy beds in a rustic old city neighbourhood building with a professional and gracious host. Walking distance to the Capitol (10-15mins). Only drawback was the non working wifi, but that small problem didn't matter. I'm sure it would have been fixed if we said...

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was in the Copper room, which was pretty, clean, spacious and well equipped - microwave, fridge, toiletries, etc. Keith greeted me and explained everything, even offered a glass of wine. They serve a very nice hot breakfast, generally at 8:30, but when I needed to leave early, they accommodated me at 7:30 with...

I can't recomend this place enough! My friend and I were in town to watch hockey and Keith helped us with all the directions to the arena, gave us good suggestions for resturants and how we could find our way around town. Breakfast was perfect with good variation. As i Said, can't recomend this place enough. Thanks for our stay...

Mt. Vernon Square B&B is a beautifully restored building worth visiting itself and is a great location to see the sights in DC. The hosts were cordial, friendly, and great for conversation around the breakfast table. Speaking of breakfast, it was amazing! Comfortable, cozy nd very reasonable, I will be back!

I had not stayed in a bed and breakfast in years, but given the significant price difference between hotels near convention center and this B and B. I thought I would give it a try. It was very nice, big room- modern bathroom, big ten network on tv so could watch basketball game. Many hotels don't have that network. It's...

We stayed here for several days over the Thanksgiving holiday week. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was very nice, the bed and sheets were comfy and the innkeeper Keith and his assistant were both friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were all great and we met some new friends around the table every morning. The house and the...
