Close to everything, feel is homey rather than polished, rooms are on the more spacious side. Lobby and bar area are a good informal hang out area One beef- gym is super small. Also the hotel is a bit dated in terms of decor but it's homey

A comfortable and friendly stay just steps away from the White House. This HGI is a great place to choose for business trips to the District where close proximity to all of the action is a necessity. And when you have time to enjoy the sights or walk the mall, this hotel provides a great spot to do that without...

The room we had (1206) was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and the location is great for museums, the monument and the WH. But it is waaaaaay too loud to sleep. Even being on the 12th floor did little to muffle street sounds (to say nothing of the hollering yelling presumably homeless man who spent...

We were very pleased with the location, the staff, the ease of checking in, being able to choose our own room online when we checked in (online). Our room was great, very clean. Fast elevators, not really slow ones you find in some hotels! Lots of choices to grab a cheap breakfast nearby. Would recommend to friends and we'd stay...

If you are an elite member then the best to book in luxury hotels of Hilton, Conrad, Waldorf since they have lounge access. But if you are not elite, great location Hilton Garden, Homewood, Homewood, Double Tree and Embassy Suites.

We arrived late on a Friday - the clubs across the street were BOUNCING. There were lots of homeless people sleeping in the corridor of the building across the street, and there was some elicit activity happening around the corner. Not the best first impression. We gave our car to the valet and hoped for the best. Our room was...

We were in D.C. to visit the new Smithsonian National Museum of African-American History and Culture. The Hilton Garden Inn DC Downtown could not have been better positioned for our trip. The room was spacious; very comfortable bed and bathroom. An easy 10-minute walk to the National Mall and within five minutes to Metro Center Station and about 12 minutes...

My one and only complaint is the parking which is $43.00 by itself has tax associated with it at $7.00, almost $8.00. This makes parking more than $50/night. That's a bit outrageous and I don't know one hotel that charges tax ON TOP of the parking fee. It may be a convenient location but it's not worth being taken advantage...

Located within walking distance of all of the great museums and monuments this Hilton is directly across from the silver line Metro at McPherson Square. The desk is businesslike and welcoming and doormen are always there to welcome you back. Single room has a King bed with pillow top and not too hot or too cold with in room with...

I have stayed at other Hilton Garden inns and they have really hit the mark for excellency in a mid-priced offering. This one in Washington DC was no exception. They have a modest restaurant, a mini-store for buying snacks and things, and their rooms are spacious, and spotless. Overall, you can't go wrong with staying here or at other Hilton...
