This hotel is located across from the McPherson Square station on the Metro. It is just a few stops to the Smithsonian station on the Mall. Typical HGI with free wifi. If you need travel directions, ask the Concierge. Ask the people at the front desk at your own risk -- I stopped by the front desk to get some...

I loved this hotel, it was a pleasure staying here. I wanted to stay longer!!!! I was relaxed and it was very very clean. This is perfect hotel near everything; within walking distance. I will definitely be visiting here again. I needed the relaxation while in DC because my son is 24 years old recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma which a...

Not a bad stay. Hotel is slightly costly, but it's location is great. Rooms are renovated, however, much of hotel still requires upgrade. My only "complaint" is that room service is only available certain hours when the kitchen is open. If you can get a discounted rate for your stay, then it's absolutely worth it!

Great location for walking to The White House, Spy Museum and many more, even for an 8 and 10 year old. The metro and big red bus stops (we paid for 2 days of unlimited stops) are within a block. This hotel is literally a block from the White House lawn. Hotel has a bar and restaurant. Buffet for breakfast...

My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids - 7 & 10) just returned from a weekend in DC. We found a great deal which included free parking and breakfast each morning, and the location seemed great so we took it. It ended up being the perfect choice! The hotel was clean, quiet, and everyone was beyond pleasant and helpful....

Went Memorial Day weekend for my granddaughter's 9th birthday. The hotel was clean and the staff was excellent. We stayed on the 10th floor and it was very quiet. Breakfast was very good as was dinner. I would definitely stay here again. Metro was close by as were all the sights.

I had a great experience at this hotel. It's in a great location and the rooms are very nice. Some friends of mine stayed at the Monaco which cost about twice as much, and I thought my room was bigger, was more updated and the bathroom was nicer, so I was happy with my decision. Service was exceptional. First, I...

I really like this hotel because it was convenient to all of the visitors high points in Washington DC. Everyone was so friendly at the hotel and they offered orange and lemon water and cookies every evening, coffee every morning. They had apples availalable and bottled water. They were great as far as providing all the information for sightseeing. My...

Whether you are in D.C. for business or leisure, the Hilton Garden Inn is an option to consider. Nice lobby, helpful staff and decent-sized (and clean) rooms. The location is close to the major monument attractions making the National Mall and GW University area both reasonable to walk to.

Not the swankiest of hotels but clean and comfortable. We asked for a quiet room and that's just what we got. Ideally situated for all the major attractions. We had one meal here which was tasty and the bottle of wine was half price. I'd stay here again.
