An older edifice, but clean, well maintained with a friendly helpful staff. Not opulent, luxurious, or boutique, just perfectly serviceable. My favorite aspect was that due to older construction the noice in the halls or from nearby room was minimal.
I've been to a lot of average banquets. It's always nice to receive an honor or be inducted into a society, but usually the dinner and banquet facility is ho-hum at best.

As an alumna, I have to say that I loved staying on campus. Not the best hotel in the world, but cozy, clean, and very friendly staff. Public transportation from the hotel... it's Georgetown. No metro, limited buses, but a beautiful neighborhood to walk.
I was quite surprised to find this hotel in the Georgetown campus. It's a lovely place - comfortable, nice rooms, Starbucks-adjacent, cozy lobby, friendly staff. Only negative I have is that water did not get hot enough to suit my preference nor did the tub...More
