Then stay at the Residence Inn DC Capitol. The staff here are among the friendliest and most helpful I have encountered in my many years of travel. The breakfast staff offer to replenish your coffee, your juice, your water or whatever and they always have smiles and a happy conversation. The front desk staff are equally helpful and pleasant. The...

Went over Labor Day weekend with my mother to D.C. This hotel was great! Had a really good breakfast, nice room, friendly staff and was in walking distance of the mall. Would defiantly stay there again if traveling to D.C.

If I could live in this hotel I would move in in a heart beat. The room was so amazing, nicer than my own apartment. The kitchenette was fully furnished, the bathroom was exceptionally clean, and the room as a whole was perfect. The staff were courteous, and the complementary breakfast (while very crowded) was outstanding. The national mall is...

The people who work here are so great!! They are always cheerful and helpful!! The breakfast is also extremely good. There are waffles, fruits, and bacon or sausage. The rooms are also clean and large.

We stayed here the weekend after the inauguration. The hotel is easy to get to off the highway and is a short walking distance to the Mall/museums. Our room had an actual refrigerator, dishwasher, and small cooktop, which you will need because they only serve (free) breakfast. A Starbucks is very close, but most restaurants seemed farther away. As others...

We stayed for almost a week and really enjoyed this hotel. Twice there was enough at the evening hors d'oeuvres for us to skip dinner entirely, and there was enough variety at breakfast to satisfy us both (one diabetic, one celiac, so we tend to be picky). Staff was friendly and helpful, and a shout out to the concierge who...

This is a great hotel. In a great location with a good breakfast. The beds were super comfy and I slept great. I was in walking distance to the Metro and if you don't feel like taking the metro it wasn't a long walk to the Mall either. The front desk staff was friendly and check-in and out was super...

We chose this Marriott property because it is close to the Capitol and the Metro. From here, it is walking distance to the Smithsonian and with the Metro close by, everything is easy to access. Although we did not have a ton of cafes, shops, or restaurants in direct proximity of the hotel, all were easy to get to by...

I stayed at the Residence Inn during my 4 day stay and had a good time. The staff at the front desk and dining room were very helpful, attentive and customer oriented. The dining room staff were very friendly - refilled my drinks for me, stopped and talked to me as a person etc. I would stay here again.

I stayed in this hotel for 10 days during a business trip. As a Marriott rewards member, I found this hotel marginal in term of overall service. The room, however; was clean and spacious with a large living area and mini kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great with plenty of hot water and good water...
